The egg rolls are the best tasting near by suburbs. Their food is so good it has a great taste. I ordered sesame chicken and a sesame beef. I also ordered bbq fried rice, egg rolls, kung pow chicken and yang chow wonton soup. To start of the Yang chow wonton soup is the best tasting soup with some white pepper and soy sauce. It has bbq beef, chicken, shrimp,wonton, hard boil egg cut in half, pea pods, watercress, carrot and mushrooms it so delicious it a must try. They have the best egg rolls here. Ask for their house hot mustard and sweet and sour it amazing. The sesame beef and sesame chicken is also very good and we love this dish here. It is served with broccoli and it a decent portion. The kung pow chicken is spicy but to a level you can handle. It has green and red peppers with peanuts, chicken and I believe onions and red dry pepper which is so flavorful and delicious. This is a hidden gem in Elgin. You can dine in, they have a couple booths and tables. The service is great and Michelle will take great care of you.

It's been years since I've been to this place. Last week, I decided to give it a try since I really liked their food back when I was studying at ECC.Unfortunately, this time I got food poisoned. Ordered mapo tofu and I was expecting to be the usual ground meat with tofu and lots of spice. I like the sauce but there was no spice at all. It has a tiny pieces of meat which I don't mind but the meat was a little tough we thought it was a beef and it has a funky taste to it. And the tofu was not even cooked because some of it was still cold.I felt bad to see how this place turned out. The only positive I can say to this restaurant is that the people were very nice and accomodating.

First time there (7/13/23). The people were very nice. However the food was bland, no taste whatsoever. I ordered Mongolian beef which should have some spice to it... but none. I did not ask for non-spicy. And they offer no combo deal or dinner special. I wanted shrimp fried with my beef and they say you have to buy a separate order. They won't let you substitute it instead of white rice. I thought they could have for a dollar or two more... but no. I only had 2 pieces of onion with the beef which I thought they could have given more. They did give a good amount of beef though, but which had no taste. The egg roll I ordered was bland as well. And I heard the guy up front (who was a nice young man) answer the phone and say they don't deliver. ?????? And you can't dine in either. They have plenty of dining space with many seats, and it's actually a nice-looking place. The pandemic has been over for nearly a year now... people like to dine in as well. And it's a chance for your staff to get tips. Thanks for being nice people though.

The Fiancee and I took my sister here for Mothers Day because her son is deployed, and she lives alone. Since COVID-19, Chan's isn't really a place to dine in. They have tables, but it's mostly a carry-out, or delivery place, now. Still, they made accomodation for us, and we really enjoyed ourselves.Excellent food. Excellent service. Their egg rolls are second-to-none. We love this place.
