Rib tips were just okay. A lot of meat, but no smoke mesquite flavor.The Jack Salmon was HORRIFIC! No seasoning and just tasteless. I expected more from a Africa American establishment. Why no seasoning on the fish? Tried to return it, was told to call back layer. Wasted my $16 hard-earned dollars! I may reorder the tips or ribs, they should consider adding smoke briquettes flavor to your BBQ PLEASE!Don't order the Jack Salmon!

Don’t order or buy the rib tips! They are tough as shoe leather. They wasn’t cooked thoroughly, fat wasn’t trimmed. I definitely will not be going back for anything else.

The so called “manager “ has a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE!! Everytime I call and place an order! She’s extremely unprofessional and needs to be fired! Gives the business a bad name . They always mess up my order, no apologies are ever given and she doesn’t hang up properly she just says “mmhmm” and hangs up. FIRE HER!!!!!!

Tonight would have been my first time eating here. Hate I couldn't give a negative star.So I place our order, 4 orders to be exact. Waited for 2 hours until they opened and paid online. Almost 20 mins later I get a texted that my order couldn't be filled and my money will be returned in 3 days. My son-in-law was almost there to get the food so when I called him to see if they were open this unprofessional place of business said they're closed. I do not recommend this place that obviously does not care to be in business for customer satisfaction. Smh I don't even know why they're even in business.Just horrible so now we have to figure out what to eat now.

It was our first time and we got catfish & ribs. The catfish was a very large portion & petfectly cooked & seasoned/breaded. The ribs were delicious & a very generous portion. Only suggestion would be to package the fries separately. They were under the catfish & were wet & squishy. The fried foods were cooked in clean oil & very tasty. We will return.Parking: There is parking right in front of the storefront.

Nothing worse than bringing the city food to the suburbs and then they skimp you on fries out of everything. Honest review is what I do. So Bree the cashier you can tell had a long day however I did let her know I would be doing a review and hunty they ate and I ate in that order. Delicious food, portion size perfect. They are actually getting back to the city roots presentation way cleaner than years ago. Please check them out not everyone will be pleased but I fed 3 people with this review and complete silence they smashed. Thank u Bree my entire team will be in this weekend for a big order with catfish. Young man on the grill did his thing. Little friendly advice smile a little and make sure prices match on the board with what's online vs on your flyers. Everything was off. Other than that please check them out I stopped going the last 5yrs because of the food, old grease, rude customer service and store cleanliness. Big improvement I highly recommend checking them out now and leave a positive review this helps small business grow.

The food is great!! I ordered 2 small tips this evening and the portion was great however I had to look for my fries because they were only 10 down up under all the tips which I'm grateful for, the fry portion needs to match the tip portion!! That's just me though.
