Sadly this place food isn't what it was just 3 years ago. Maybe the chef changed inhave no idea but also the staff isn't too friendly. The rice is hard and undercooked, we asked for a better rice and they changed white rice for arroz con gandules but this time a whole long black hair swirling all over the freshly served rice, when we called the waitress she gave us a vague sorry and went behind counter to mumble something yo another waitress and both started laughing like that horrible situation was funny at all. Won't be going back.

Had the rice and jibarito sandwich and it was not great. Rice is ok but not Puerto Rican flavored, taste of cumin. Their fried foods are decent, the empanadilla de pizza was good. Recommend the white rice and beans over their arroz con gandulez

Great food, my big family (7 kids, my wife and me) and got our food quickly. It was very good, and reminded me of being a kid (Puerto Rican mom). We do not live in the Chicago area so this was a nice treat for us.

My family and I ordered different dishes which had no flavor at all, the mofongo was soft and with very little meat and the stewed meat was tasteless and colorless. On the other hand, the service and atmosphere were terrible.

I have had a lot of Puerto Rican food in my life (I am Puerto rican). I've been to this place twice now and I gotta be honest, it's okay, not bad, not great. Service is soso so that made it worse. My wife and I felt sick even going to bed at night we were still burping it up. Going to try other places in the area and compare.
