Expensive prices compared to La Villita and North Chicago, for Elgin the price is almost double. They treat you like you are at home and even helped me arrange an Uber to take me further away from Elgin. What good service, respectfully.

I will never return to this place, they charged us double and did not want to return my money. The owner's wife is a very rude person just like his employees. And the lying employees who when I called asked for the owner or his wife and they told me they weren't there but when I heard the wife's voice I realized she was there and they ended up handing her the phone. Apart from the fact that they charged double the order, they didn't deliver it correctly, things were missing and the food was damaged, I immediately vomited it. They have delayed my refund and in the end told me that they are very busy, that they don't have time to assist me, that they are not going to give me anything to talk to my bank about and that they rudely hang up on me. I was very patient and respectful for them to be rude to me. The good thing is that I already talked to my bank and they will fix that. In addition, the owner's wife lied to me and told me that she had refunded my partner's money to his card and at this very moment we checked the 2 bank accounts and neither of them have received anything back. Rude people, thieves, and liars and to finish it off food that hurts. I have read many of the negative comments and almost all of them talk about how rude and disrespectful they are in this place, so I am calm when I realize that I was not the one with the problem and clearly I did not misinterpret their behavior and attitude of the ladies in this place. Y las empleadas mentirosas que cuando llame pregunte por el dueño o su esposa y me dijeron que no estaban pero al yo escuchar la voz de la esposa me di cuenta que estaba ahi y terminaron pasándole el teléfono. E leeido muchos de los comentarios negativos y casi todos hablan de lo groseros e irrespetuosos que son en este lugar, asi que me quedo tranquila al darme cuenta que no fui yo la del problema y claramente no mal interprete su comportamiento y actitud de las señoras en este local.

Food was absolutely fresh and delicious. Fast and friendly service along with a beautiful vibe. I saw such a great mix of people come in to dine or carry out. A lot were familiar with the staff and all full of smiles. Which can only mean this place is a great staple in the community. Only thing I wish was that it were closer to my house! I was heading north to check out a job and I was lucky to find this place passing through. I will most definitely be back and recommend to everyone.

My chorizo y huevos torta was most excellent, and huge! I ate half for lunch and the rest for dinner. The Tamarind drink, made in house, was so delicious, with spices on the rim of the glass, I wanted to buy a gallon jug of it. The music was a little loud for me, but that's just me. I (obvious to them) was unfamiliar with almost everything I was looking at; the printed menu is in Spanish and English and everyone was very helpful and patient. They let me try a sample of an unfamiliar food which was kind of them. I will absolutely be back for more food and delicious drink.
