I wish I had taken pictures!! Stopped in after MANY years.. possibly over a decade of not having El Faro food. I used to frequently go to the location off 20 when I lived in Elgin and then the Dundee location when I lived in Carpentersville. Still great service. Food was delicious and VERY filling. This casual Mexican restaurant, El Faro's, has such delicious food. My favorites are the steak burritos and tortas de milanesa. The staff is friendly and the service is very prompt. I highly recommend El Faro's.
