Stopped in for lunch on Sunday. No wait seating, server was friendly, plenty of parking. Ordered gorditas, rice, Chile relleno taco, aqua de jamaica, chips and quac. Everything was amazing. This place has great food. If you like greasy salty food, you will not like this place. This is the best Mexican food I have ever had at a restaurant. The carne asada is arrachera made on a grill, or at least they had me fooled, cuz the steak was perfect. Thank God these people are in the restaurant industry.

Such good tacos, real Mexican food, better than chipotle and besides el pariso, other Mexican restaurants like this are amazing too.

I ordered a 2 steak burritos and they didn’t add sour cream or cheese!!! The female employee proceeded to argue with me after going back and forth in Spanish with other employees about whether or not they added the cheese and sour cream. She then told me that I had to drive an hour back to the restaurant to get credit and refused to give me her name

The woman at the register was nice, I’ve been going here for over 5 years and the food has always been consistent even through new hires, but this time the food was not the same at all. Portions were smaller, they got one of my burritos wrong, there was cilantro all over the wrapping even when I didn’t order cilantro and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t even come in the burritos ? The meat was super dry and basically burnt for the chicken, there was raw onion in the chicken burrito when again, pretty sure that’s never been a thing before ?
This new staff just seemed to not know how to cook anything and were more worried about gossiping and dancing around rather than cooking or getting the orders right obviously. Again, this doesn’t apply to the woman at the window. This incident was Sunday October 13th at 4:00pm for a staff reference if needed.

The lengua tacos were absolutely to die for. It was so delicious I was sent back to my 20's living in Chicago and did a little dance in my seat. Our server was awesome and incredibly nice. I will definitely be coming back to hit that spot. Lengua is so easy to mess up and they didn't mess it up at all. *chef kiss*
Little crowded, but that's how you know the food is good.
Parking: Parking lot was full when we got there, so we had to park in an adjacent lot.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this location for over 8 years, and the steak burrito has always been my favorite. After moving out of town for a few years and recently returning, I’ve noticed a significant drop in quality. The burrito is now inconsistent—sometimes the meat is fresh and juicy, but other times it’s dry and tough. I even visited today during lunch hour, assuming the meat would be at its freshest, but it was still dry and tough.
The portions also seem smaller. I used to only be able to eat half because it was so large and filling, but now I can easily finish the entire thing. If prices are going to increase, I expect the same quality and portion size as before.
One detail that really stands out, as small as it may seem, is how the burritos are wrapped. They used to be snug and well put together, but now they fall apart in my hands.
As minor as this might sound, it’s made me question whether I want to keep coming back. A well-made burrito should be enjoyable to eat, and these little details make a huge difference.
I hope this feedback helps improve the quality, as I’d hate to go elsewhere for my steak burrito fix. El Paraiso has always been my go-to, and I want it to stay that way.

I ordered a steak burrito special with rice and beans substituted for fries. The flavor of the steak meat was bland and plain. It barely had any seasoning on it. I was looking forward to a burrito but was let down because of the bland flavor. They were extremely busy at the time , maybe the chef was in a hurry , but the steak meat was extremely bland, I had to add salt on it at home.
