Had the best ceviche, spicy margaritas and steak tacos of my entire life!! Love this place!!

The truth is, the place gives only a nice view..! But the food is terrible...! Aspida and 0% flavor..! I'm sorry but it's the Pure Truth...! ?

I had already been to this place but yesterday the service was terrible. I didn't know that they charged 20% for singing the mañanitas and part of it I left a tip. I feel like they already exceeded their prices in every way. The waitress was very rude and the first time I had a super good waiter. vibe

On Nov.2 2024 at approximately 3:00 pm . My Brother a friend and I went to El Patio Mexican restaurant in Elgin . The place is very warm and welcoming. Our server was great. We ordered La Maranada for 2 but it can easily feed 4 . Look at the pictures and video. The food was a work of art and tasted even better. Highly recommend.

I never have written a review but the service was honestly very poor. Server was very inattentive didn’t ask if we were doing okay or if the food was alright. There wasn’t a single time she smiled in the 2 1/2 hours of being there. We also ordered shots of dobel which should be around 8-10$ and they were 17$ such a rip off!!! with no heads up on the price! As someone in the service industry I was shocked at the price if it was casamigo’s, don Julio, or casa azul I would have understood. There was so much wrong with the experience we had to clear our own plates and we also had to ask for someone else for our checks and after 10-15 mins they finally dropped it off and still never saw our server come to us.
Over all never had such bad experience at a restaurant which sucks cause the place is nice and the food is good.

I understand prices go up. I paid 80 dollars for 9 tacos and 3 horchatas which is just wild. But the real problem was when we ordered the food, there was no condiments on our tacos, and we didn’t get rice and beans that we ordered. When I called they said that I left before they could give me a second bag, which is a lie because I saw the single bag on the counter top and nothing else and they expect me to be love they out the condiments of tacos in the second bag. They also said a manager would call me back shortly. Then when I called back after an hour, they claimed a manager wasn’t on the clock at the moment. It’s been 2 weeks and still nothing. We just moved to Elgin but won’t be going to this restaurant anymore. Sad cause the food is great.

Terrible doorman for the nightmare on Chicago street. They did not let anyone in only their friends. They left a horrible taste and hopefully they don’t treat their normal establishment in such a way. Do better.

Where do I begin! My server Jenny was amazing! Such great service with the most cheery attitude ? she made me and my family feel so welcomed. She made sure we felt comfortable and was very attentive. The food was AMAZING! ✨10/10✨ i definitely recommend stopping by! Be prepared to be amazed with the atmosphere, the food, and the service❤️ I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

Customer service not very customer friendly. Food wasn't the freshest , waitress wouldn't offer comp or exchange even though we complained about the food. ?
