I recently visited this Mediterranean spot, which shares its space with an American breakfast kitchen—a unique setup that works really well! Both cuisines are served in the same place, creating a diverse menu.
The Mediterranean food was fantastic—super authentic with generous portion sizes that left us completely satisfied. The flavors were rich, and everything tasted fresh.
My only feedback is that I wish they allowed substitutes on the menu. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility with the dishes.
Overall, a great spot for anyone craving a mix of Mediterranean and American breakfast options. I’d definitely recommend it!

I came back here after being away for several months. I've gotten spoiled by going to Amy's kabob in Streamwood. Larsa's food is dried out. No comparison. If you're in the streamwood area, visit Amy's Kabob. Such homemade tasty food which offers a salad as well. My last visit to Larsas.

First time visit and did not see a sign for "Larsa's Kitchen" on the building but rather the signage was for "The Big Skillet". That was confusing. There was plenty of parking at "The Big Skillet" and yes they do have "Larsa's" menu on a section of the menu. Perhaps two restaurants share this location? We were greeted and seated by an elderly woman that was not rude nor pleasant, she was strictly business. She brought us our beverages and said someone would be back to take our order. After 10 minutes a server did arrive and was very apologetic for the long wait and explained it was due to shift change. He was very courteous and friendly and was an excellent server. We ordered 2 different chicken dishes with hummus and rice. One of the meals was delicious and well prepared and the other not so much due to the chicken being dry and somewhat tasteless. The prices were reasonable and the facility was neat and clean. Other reviews are what encouraged us to try this restaurant so perhaps another time may be more satisfying. Three stars is a fair rating for this experience.

Being middle eastern I’ve tried tons of different places in the burbs. And nothing compared to the city, till now had the gyros dinner w rice and a chicken kabob added they give you enough food were I had dinner the next night. Only problem the second night I wanted more. Do not sleep on this place cause you will miss out. Next up will try the shawarma CANT WAIT.

FYI-Located at Big Skillet across the street. Lentil soup was very good. The Mediterranean dishes were mediocre.

Ordered 2 falafels, waited 15 min for 2 huge oversized tortillas (not a pita), mostly empty with a bunch of lettuce and huge pieces of tomato with maybe 1 1/2 falafels in the sandwich. Total waste of $18.00

I gotta say something changed! The sauce is watery for the tzatziki. I ordered a gyro plate and not even enough meat for 1 pita …. The food it tasty but def doing some cost cutting I’ll go elsewhere next

Best gyros in a 100 mile radius. Seriously. The fries are also AMAZING if you like well done fries. I can't say enough great things about them. Been eating there for years and even our baby loves the gyro meat.

First things first... they have moved from the gas station location to about a couple of blocks south. They share the place with Big Skillet Pancake House. ( picture posted) . Their food is still the same. However, the service has considerably changed for the better. The place is obviously bigger ( than the gas station location). I'm not sure if I like the idea of sharing the place with a pancake house. All said and done they do deserve ****
