We are huge fans of McAlister's Deli in Elgin! The food is consistently excellent, and their service is always top-notch. Whether it's their delicious sandwiches, salads, or soups, we've never been disappointed with the quality.However, I must mention that there have been a few occasions where our pick-up orders were not quite right. While it hasn't been a major issue, it's something worth noting and super annoying. Despite this occasional hiccup, the staff at McAlister's is always friendly and accommodating.Overall, McAlister's Deli is still our go-to spot for a satisfying meal with great service. We'll continue to dine here and hope to see a bit more consistency with pick-up orders in the future. Keep up the good work!

Walked in nobody was at counter at least 3 people in kitchen made eye contact with us. Then girl in kitchen told the 1 person on the floor he was supposed to be at counter, told him to help the table then take our order. We were never greeted never spoken too, nothing after almost 5 mins we ended up leaving, there was nobody but 1 table with 6 people who were already eating and 2 family's on the other side 1 waiting for food. Unbelievable will not be back.

The food is decent for a chain. It's pretty consistent and they have a decent selection.We did an online order and I went to the drive-thru to pick it up. They forgot to give me a bag of food, however, they called right away when they realized there was a mistake. I wasn't too far away so I went back and got the rest of the food.I know people make mistakes but I felt like they handled that really well. At least that was able to get all the food.Kudos to them for trying to correct their mistake.
