For some reason this location is not as good as the other ones. I used to work at Moretti’s for two years and I used to tell people that the food was great. Something has definitely changed and I no longer would recommend it :( we ordered a deep dish pizza and the cheese was rubber! The sauce had no flavor which is crazy because again it was so good before! My husband also ordered short rib pappardelle…no sauce, noodles were over cooked and the short rib had no flavor. if there was a negative star that would not be enough for the amount of disrespect that was given to us. we were seated and waited 30 minutes watching people who came in after us get seated and served right away. Servers and mangers walking past us like we were invisible. For it being “highly rated” for being a good place to take your family. We recently had a luncheon at Moretti's in Elgin after the funeral of my mother, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the beginning, the professionalism of manager, Felicia, her kindness, and willingness to make this as easy as possible for us during such a difficult time is deeply appreciated.
