The service is usually very nice. I like their pizza, well made. My only complaint, if it is even a complaint is the extra charge for using a credit card. Still extremely reasonable on the prices.

This is my second time dining at this restaurant, and the food was always great. We loved our pizza and the salad, and the other hand waiter was a very well-behaved, friendly, professional, and very helpful. His name was Oz.

Ok I love food and if you follow my reviews/posts you know this.
Nick's is truly one of my all time favs. Both the crystal lake and Elgin location.
The vibe is great, great barn wood structure and decor. Service is always on the dot. We love the peanuts and are sad that it has evolved to what it is now due to all the allergies. But happy they still hand out bags of them
