I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, but the staff were really incredible! We sat outside with our two year old for dinner and she was stung by a bee. The staff were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Our waitress Kerry was so warm and attentive, she made our daughter feel so much better with bandaids and ice. We will absolutely be back to Old Republic very soon!

Absolutely awesome place. The outside has definitely a Seaside vibe and the indoors has some great choices for TVs. The food was awesome. The staff was awesome. The owner was awesome. Very welcoming place I've never been to and I'm glad I found it. I read the reviews especially over the one star ones and they didn't seem right of what was going on. I'm glad I didn't trust them and I chose to go this place. Any questions on the food I had the California chicken grilled. Season perfectly. Love the oversized shoestring fries. Can't wait to come back and bring my kids

The only complaint I have is they have a raised metal cover right next to where they take your reservation that I tripped on and the immediate staff did nothing but management did come out and check on me. I scraped up two knees, messed up my left hand thumb and my shoulder. I was told I should go after them but that's not the type of person I am
My coworkers and I were at Old Republic for a baby shower on a Friday. The live music was loud and fun. The portion sizes were huge. And our server Ava made the whole experience smooth, efficient, and enjoyable.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday night and it was packed. We were seated inside right away which was nice. The place was kind of noisy but it's to be expected on a busy weekend. We ordered spinach and ricotta bites which we enjoyed and for a main course Kansas City ribs and they were good but coleslaw was pretty bad and mac and cheese was only ok. Drinks were kind of weak. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

We had an amazing first visit at Old Republic. We are not from Elgin so we drove quite a distance to get here. But our server and bartender named Andy, gave us outstanding customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, the Poison Cover band played great music that added so much to the evening, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!
