Went there one night. The staff did not address us. No greeting and not even a glance. Had to practically beg them to let us order. Then the food wasn't even good. Borderline gross. We threw most of it away.

I brought home a big haul of conchas and other types of sweet bread but they were all a bit stale.
I know conchas, and these were not it. Not sure if they were just a bad batch but other reviews seem to agree that the quality is a bit lacking.
There's also a separate restaurant on the bottom floor. Not sure if it's the same owner of the bakery though? Definitely an interesting set up. I can't quite put my finger to it but something about this place vibe was a bit off. I'm not sure if I'll be back again soon.

Some of the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. They were more than willing to create a very detailed and unique custom cake that was absolutely delicious. Their customer service is phenomenal! If I could give them 10 stars out of 5, I absolutely would :)

The best Bakery!! #1 for conchas!! back in the day with the original owner! After new management the bread isn't the same.
I have been going to this bakery for years. My kids loved going to pick their favorite concha’s. Then I noticed that the owner changed. Started to see a change, not a good one the bread was not fresh anymore. Then I went after Halloween of 2023 and was not very impressed. I went early in the morning to see if I can buy “fresh out the oven bread” but the shelves were almost empty. Very disappointed, tried to give them another chance. Went with my daughter because we wanted to relive what we used to do. Pick fresh bread to bring home. However there was not much to pick from and the bread was not fresh at all. So sad and very disappointed to see what has happened to the bakery my kids grew up knowing. Now I have to look for another bakery that would come close or equally good as Pastigel was.

I had always found very good bread, cookies and empanadas in this place, until they changed owners, baker, management... now I bought the stale bread and it doesn't taste as good as before. The price, I would be willing to pay if the bread had better quality, but more than 16 dollars for 8 hard and tasteless breads! I will not buy from this bakery again.

We use to love buying our bread from this bakery, they had the best conchas! but the quality has gone down after change in ownership. Stoped by to buy bread today and realized it was rock hard when we got home! Can’t believe they would actually try to sell bread this old! Sad part is that We live too far to go return it. The Cashier was also pretty rude. Definitely not worth the drive for us anymore.
