Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Went against my better judgement after reading the poor reviews. I figured it would be ok considering they’ve only been open for an hour 🤦🏽‍♀️ my chicken breast was ICE COLD!!! The young Indian kid dropped me change handed it back to me and said “you’re good” after I told him he dropped my change. What does that even mean. There was no napkins or utensils in the bag. Just Terrible

I ordered a chicken sandwich. It was awful. The piece of chicken was mostly breading. It was also very oily. Also no mayonnaise on the bun. Avoid. This is the worst chicken restaurant in the Elgin area.

Fries were amazing and hot but the snack wraps were just overpriced and gross honestly way too much spicy sauce it was overwhelming and spilling out the tortilla definitely won’t get the wrap next time

Just ordered a chicken sandwich from here. It was the worse sandwich I've ever had in my life. The chicken was small hard and also cold. I won't be back here again!

Unapologetic about getting orders wrong. Happened twice in a row. Corrected them at the counter. They don’t take the time to make sure they fulfill your customized orders.

The service at this restaurant is by far the worst service I’ve ever seen at any Popeyes complete idiots running this place. Can’t provide change for anything that you buy if you pay in cash, slow moving and rude individuals working there sloppy messy.

Ordered 12 pcs chicken. After couple of bites I noticed the chicken is so hard to chew and I could see the dark brown edges covered by the crunchy breading/coating. Doesn’t look like it was just cooked in the morning. Appears like it was cooked yesterday. Beware! Park your car first and have a few bites before leaving the store.

Ricardo is hands down one of the best! Every time I come in, he goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and customers are taken care of. His problem-solving skills are impressive — even when it’s busy or something goes wrong, he handles it with ease and a great attitude. As a business owner myself, I really admire his professionalism and leadership. Popeyes is lucky to have someone like Ricardo on the team, and so are the customers who get to experience his top-tier service.
