I REALLY like biscuits and gravy but are usually disappointed with B&G from restaurants, so I make my own. Ray's beat me! I've only been there 4 or 5 times since I discovered it a few months ago, but the 11-mile trip is well worth it. So far, I've tried different breakfasts and was surprised at just how good everything was. The staff is friendly and attentive and It in very clean and well decorated and their customers just seem like nice local folks. A nice comfortable place to linger over a meal ?

An excellent gem of a restaurant that's been open since 1969. Very diner vibes inside with lightning fast service, excellent staff and delicious food. Would definitely come here again. Get the banana milkshake, it's made with real bananas and delicious. The vegetable soup was excellent come as was the Reuben and the breakfast options. My son ate the entire enormous Belgian waffle with ice cream and whipped cream on top and he's only 8.

Dropped in after driving past the place for the thousandth time. Ordered up the baked cod and was impressed. The serving size was good, and the service was superior.

First time visit did NOT disappoint. The Denver omelette (with cheddar instead of American cheese) was perfectly cooked and a great balance of ingredients. The hash browns were perfectly crispy on top and tender underneath with great flavor. The side of French toast was equally delicious.
The employees work hard and fast. If you're a coffee drinker you probably won't have an empty cup. Tables are cleared and made ready for the next customers very quickly. Please tip well. Our server especially appreciated the tip was in cash.
It's a small room with tightly spaced tables. It doesn't bother us, but it's not the kind of place you can have a large group or plan to spread out on a Sunday morning. The booth tables are movable, not permanently mounted to the wall.

2nd week straight! Had to go back and get their chilaquiles again! This place is super busy, but each and every staff there works with a purpose, very efficient! I found out about this Ray’s Diner after it popped as a feed on my FB page, so happy it did! Don’t mind driving a distance for this place - well worth it.
