I placed an on-line order the other day for pickup. In my order was cashew chicken. I checked my email receipt, and it was correct. After we picked up the order and got home, instead of cashew chicken they gave me some kind of shrimp & cashews in an orange sauce. I looked at the pickup receipt and it showed the mistake. In the past, I did love the cashew chicken, however I will NEVER order food from them again. Here's why: We were hungry and didn't want to drive back to show them the mistake so we ate & by the way the item I received instead of my cashew chicken was terrible. About an hour later, I called them and was told I needed to talk to the manager. I explained what had happened and that I wanted a refund for not getting my cashew chicken. He told me I had to wait 3 weeks because they are some 3rd party whatever? I told him I paid with a debit card - the transaction is already in my bank account and we're only talking about $12 with tax. He continued to argue with me raising his voice and talking over me - No, we don't get paid for 3 weeks so you need to wait. If this business couldn't refund me a mere $12 immediately, something is seriously wrong. The manager disrespected me, yelled at me and came across like he has NO appreciation for his customers!!

The first time I tried this food, I ordered it through delivery and was pleasantly surprised.
The next time, I decided to dine in at the restaurant. I made a mobile order, but when I arrived, I found that there was ample seating, contrary to my expectation of a cramped space like Fortune House.
The first employee I encountered was a young man presumably in his twenties. I informed him that I had initially ordered for takeout but had changed my mind and wanted to dine in. He accommodated my request and directed me to a seat.
The second employee, an older gentleman, seemed to interpret my actions as a crime when I went to take a seat. I clarified that I had made a mobile order and intended to dine in. The frustrating aspect was that the first employee, who was right behind the second employee, could have easily informed him that I had already spoken to the first employee and that everything was fine. However, he remained silent and didn’t even glance in our direction.
Undeterred, the second employee proceeded to lecture me about the complexity of my request. Despite my understanding and willingness to takeout if necessary, he continued to lecture me.
When my food arrived, the second employee informed me that the manager had denied my request to dine in and that I would have to eat outside. There was no apology offered.
While I understand that my request was unconventional, the miscommunication between the employees made the situation frustrating. Fortunately, the food was still delicious, just like the first time. It was probably for the best that I opted for takeout since the restaurant was swarming with bugs. I believe that’s why most people prefer takeout over dining in.
If you plan to visit this restaurant, I highly recommend ordering takeout. Also, be prepared for any requests you make, as they may react as if you’ve asked them the most absurd question.

I had ordered from here at the least every couple week with a colleague and we order the same meal every time. I always get extra ingredients in my food And this last meal I felt wasn't portioned correctly And this has happened one other time about a year ago, Which the owner corrected. This time, around when I called the owner ssured me he double checked and the accuse me of wanting to scam them for 5 dollars bringing up the previous time i called and was very unprofessional and hung up the phone on me, I attempted to call back 2nd time me to have a cordial conversation, to sum it up he said he didn't care about my business.
Needless to say he not only lost my business.He lost my colleagues and the people affiliates I work with.
I came here to leave an honest review for an observation based on previous orders, I called your store for assurance that my order was correct and in return you became combative as you are now And accused me of fraud for 5$

I had the Chinese vegetable soup and the dry beef chow fun. Both were excellent. It is hard to find good chow fun, but they know how to make it here.

I should have read the reviews…Uhg! The food was horrible. Even the egg rolls were bad. I’m convinced the greens in the wrap was old and/or sour cabbage. The veggie plate with fried rice was cold. Clumps of cold white sauce. The booth tables were so old and beat up looking. It did not create a good atmosphere. If anyone has really enjoyed their food, consider yourself lucky.

I normally Love SL. I ordered my favorites tonight the chicken EggFooYung was 1/3 of the size and all gravy. The BBQ pork was thin and very tough. I understand prices going up but at least provide the same portion size. Its a shame when you no longer want to spend your money on something you enjoy even once in awhile. On another note....the young kids who answer phones to take orders need a lesson in courtesy and manners. Thank you and your welcome should be easy to say.
