Small quaint seated space inside but the chocolate croissant and iced black americano are authentically amazing. Favorite place to stop on my way to Chicago.

Please visit the shop and show love to Percy - Amazing Barista and individual.
Now the harsh review is for the elderly lady during NOCS DAY time shift ( 10/25/2025)
She kept complaining how she didn't make money last year and told every patron that we opened early due to make money lost for last year.
She had this weird attitude that she won't let people use her washroom even though they are a paying customer. I saw this happen twice while waiting for my colleague.
Everything was always to go , what if I wanted to sit in the shop and hang for a bit.
I, understand she was flustered and also one of our Staff members even complained that it took 30 min for a simple drink order. one drink! Holy cow!

I was at an event last evening that served a wonderful variety of treats from Sugar and Rhyme Coffeehouse—croissants, biscottis, Italian meringues, scones and several other delicious treats. Everyone there was impressed and commented on how tasty everything was. I will definitely stop at Sugar and Rhyme when I’m in the area.
I was visiting from Orlando and everyone was very nice! Everything there, including the syrups, is handmade! What a treat!

Found this place a week ago and am already hooked! The coffee is delicious, the menu is wonderful, and the staff is so kind and attentive. It is the cutest little coffee shop and also a safe place for diversity and inclusion, celebrating all the beautiful diversity of humanity! I will continue to support this great business.

These are the best croissants I’ve ever had ! They are super flaky and crispy and soft and warm on the inside. I messed up up my order and the employees were super nice and helpful. I will be coming back !
