Total rip off. they served me the wrong food and when i wanted it off the bill bc i never touched it, and they refused. no wonder that place im was empty. my partner was the only one to eat and he even said it was bland. the drinks we were given weren’t even cold. ZERO/5 don’t waste your time here

I have driven past this place many times and kept intending to visit. This Friday I was finally able to go. Initial impression, the restaurant is really cute, clean and welcoming. I love that it plays on the whole anime genre. I went in with zero expectations on the food and left very impressed. We ordered gyoza, edamame and kimchi pancakes to start. Everything was delicious but the star of that show were the kimchi pancakes. Chefs kiss. For our entrees, we ordered stir fried udon noodles with the crispy chicken and a shrimp udon in a spicy broth. Both were so flavorful and delicious. Service was great. She was extremely nice and everything was well taken care of. We will definately be back to try more dishes.

super slow service. ordered everything and waited about an hour JUST for the drinks. please hire more employees or something because i deadass almost passed out cuz i was getting so hungry

Food and drinks were amazing! We had Mongolian beef udon, crispy chicken rice bowl and shrimp pad thai were all real good. Great flavors! The lychee lemonade drink was the perfect sweetness too.The only negative is that it sounds like someone has there phone connected to the Bluetooth speakers throughout the restaurant and just was annoying that it kept going off and on and pausing due to that person possibly getting notification.Would definitely recommend trying this place for the food and drinks.

Made a great decision stopping here. I was very pleased with my Beef Udon stir fry. By all accounts other dishes were phenomenal. Located in scenic downtown Elgin, in the shadow of the famous Historic Art Deco building: Elgin Tower, just steps away from the river front. Plenty of space to sit, great service. The food was definitely a focal point. Delivers the vibes. Will be back!

Really nice staff, quaint location and good food! A bit pricey for what you get but the flavour and aroma makes me fold. This is the only place I've found around that has something like pineapple fried rice that tastes really good even though it may sound like a weird concoction. Definitely will come again when I'm craving it!
Amazing food and huge portions! Tokyo wings, scallion pancakes, Sriracha yaki soba and spicy shrimp udon. The udon was just addicting and loved dipping the pancakes in it. Every bite was delicious. Service and people were wonderful and welcoming. One big hug!
