Working with Trisha for our daughter's wedding was wonderful from beginning to end. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable. I appreciated her willingness to accommodate our requests and vision. She went over and above -even coming in a day early for a specialty set up. The food was as good at our event as it was during the tasting. In our experience with the staff we found them to be engaging and professional. The only challenge was promptly serving the guest's dinner which may have been in part due to our venue and/or the size of the event. I would reccommend Elegente Cuisine, I would select them again for my events and I highly recommend the experience of working with Trisha.

Elegante catered an event for us yesterday with well over 300 people. We were so impressed with them!

First, the food was excellent. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and the Pot Roast, green beans, pasta and salad...absolutely delicious!!! So many people stopped me to compliment the food.

Second, the staff was amazing!! They ran like a well-oiled machine....they were highly organized, efficient, and ALWAYS did it with a smile. All the food was consistently stocked and always at the right temperature. They came in, went right to work, did their thing, and then cleaned up like they were never here.

I would definitely use them again. And for the money you spend on a large event like this, it is worth every penny to secure a company that has both the food and the service aspects mastered. EXCELLENT JOB, ELEGANTE!! Thank you.

Elegante Cuisine catered the food for our wedding and my husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hire them.

Out of the many caterers we researched, Elegante was the most affordable (as drop-off catering) without sacrificing any value or flavor. So many of our guests told us that this was the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted!

When doing our tasting, Veronica, our contact at Elegante, was so personable and made the day really fun and special. It was difficult to decide what our buffet would offer because ALL of the options presented were so delicious.

Elegante was also incredibly accommodating. We had a number of guests with allergies and food restrictions. They offered separately prepared and packaged meals for those with severe allergies and because they prepare all meals in their own onsite kitchen, they were able to custom adjust their offerings to accommodate other restrictions.

We used Elegante Cuisine for our company Christmas party this year and they knocked it out of the park. Patricia was so easy to work with, and the food was delicious. I let Patricia put the menu together based on a few preferences and the feedback from employees was that the food was really good. This will not be our last event catered by them!

Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner
I’ve ordered Thanksgiving meals from different catering companies for the past 10 years because I can’t deal with the cooking and cleaning for 20 people. This year I tried Elegante Cuisine and OMG — the food was amazing! I’m so happy they offer hot delivery on Thanksgiving Day. I even asked them to carve the turkey and it came out so moist and flavorful.

The Basque cheesecake was a huge hit; rich, creamy, and so good. All the sides were delicious too. Everyone loved everything, and we already decided we’re ordering from them again next year.

Looks like they also do hot delivery on Christmas Day, so I’ll definitely be ordering then too. Thank you for making Thanksgiving so easy and so tasty for my family!

We got the Thanksgiving Catering at my workplace and the turkey was juicy and tender, and the mashed potatoes with the cranberry relish was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you have any events that need catering.
I had a question about the ingredients for one of the menu items as well and Jen was quick to answer and help me out. Thank you so much guys <3

Trisha and her team were exceptional and made us feel so special during our tasting and the day of our wedding. The food was fantastic and received great reviews from our guests. The service was seamless and left nothing for us to worry about. I would recommend them to any of our friends and family.

HIGHLY is not a big enough word for how much I recommend Elegante! They were absolutely INCREDIBLE! I was the planner for my brother's wedding on October 11th at the Dawes House in Evanston, IL. From the very beginning Elegante was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our contact Taylor was so professional and impressively organized. She made everything so easy for us and made us feel taken care of from the early planning stages through the event itself.
While most wedding food is forgettable at best, the food from Elegante was absolutely delicious! It was just as delicious on the day of the wedding as it was at the tasting (which was also a lovely experience, by the way).
On the day of the wedding Elegante arrived not just on time, but a bit early, and got to work setting everything up right away. They were respectful of the venue (a historic home full of antiques), and managed the limitations (no refrigeration, ancient appliances) beautifully. Everything went exactly according to plan and every single team member I interacted with was friendly and accommodating.
We had a plated dinner service, and everyone received their meal in a timely manner. All of our guests raved about the food. Elegante was also SO accommodating with food allergies and dietary choices. We had vegans, people with nut allergies, and people who are gluten free and Elegante took care of everyone with no problems whatsoever. We also had bar service throughout the event, and the bartender was awesome! He was super friendly, funny, and somehow remembered everyone's drinks. I wish I had that kind of memory!
We first hired Elegante because they were reasonably priced compared to the astronomical bids we received from other local caterers. We didn't know what to expect given the price difference, but I can now very confidently say there was no catch at all!! Elegante Cuisine is an excellent company full of excellent people who really care about making your event the best it can be. I absolutely whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone hosting an event in the Chicagoland area. My brother's wedding was absolutely perfect and a very large part of that was because of the awesome the team at Elegante Cuisine. THANK YOU, ELEGANTE!!

My now husband and I were recommended this catering company thru our wedding venue. I can not say enough good things about our experience with them.

Our in person tasting at their kitchen was wonderful. The chef worked so hard: everything came out hot and fresh. The tasting gave us a great picture of how things would come together. Most companies were telling us that the tastings were $50+/per person. While prices may change, they were super reasonable and it was $30/per person. They also did allow additional people to come to the tasting. We did not elect to add anyone else, but if you wanted other people to come, they did allow that.

Our primary contact for all prep/contract/planning was Trish. She was great with emailing back and forth, and took my call when I had a few impromptu questions the week before our wedding.

Appetizers selected were:
Sausage Stromboli
Chicken Empanadas
Samosas with a yogurt sauce

Our guests loved these! The staff had kindly asked if my husband and I wanted a plate put to the side so we could enjoy, which was very thoughtful.

Our selected dinner menu was:
Chicken breast with the champagne cream sauce
Smoked salmon with a bourbon glaze
Roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and a sweet mustard sauce
And Dutchess potatoes.

We did not go crazy. Double sided buffet style so we could get people thru quickly. The food was hot, it was not over or under seasoned and they replenished items quickly so every guest could get what they wanted from the buffet.

Additionally, the staff! Professional, kind, and efficient. Our captain, Kenny was FANTASTIC! He personally introduced himself before our ceremony. Efficiently confirmed details of our event and SAVED out cake. The warm weather started taking a toll on our beautiful buttercream cake. He notified us before it was a disaster. We cut the cake and Kenny, along with the kitchen staff did a total pivot to get our cake cut and refrigerated so our guests coud enjoy. Ocyrus (I may be spelling his name wrong), part of the serving staff introduced himself and said he would personally attend to our needs if we wanted anything additional. Our guests also mentioned Danielle, commenting on her positive attitude and how she seamlessly danced to the music and gave the service some great character.

The kitchen chefs and assist staff, often unseen, were seen. The venue we had our wedding at, required the bride/bridesmaids to walk thru the kitchen to exit the bridal suite. I passed thru multiple times and they were all kind, polite and that kitchen was so clean during all phases of the event.

Many times catering is sad, dry, and not very enjoyable... This company was the total opposite. Looking back, they were the perfect choice. I would, and will use them again in the future. They really helped make our dream day just that, a dream. I would like to personally thank each and everyone one of the staff that worked our event.

Elegante was such an excellent vendor for our 135-guest wedding at an Airbnb site (The Sugar Barn in Sugar Creek, WI). They were very professional, and Patricia was extremely helpful with planning, last minute changes, and executing exactly what we wanted! Chef Jean created a full gluten-free and dairy-free menu for us, and everyone raved about it all! He was even able to make GF/DF eggrolls/lumpia and empanadas -- delicious! The only complaint I heard was that the passed Swedish meatballs were slightly cold during cocktail hour. Everything else was exactly what we requested, and lip-smacking good!

I cannot thank Trisha enough for all of her hard work and dedication that she had to make this day perfect for us. The team was able to resolve the concerns they had when it was getting really windy out without needing to bother any of the wedding party. The bar staff were great as well! We provided the alcohol, and they provided the excellent bar service to keep our guests happy. 5 stars!

Every single staff member was respectful and professional. We really appreciated the extra steps they took to make their way to my wife and I with appetizers during cocktail hour immediately when we arrived, as well as serving us at the head table while the guests were at the buffet. We really felt like guests of honor.

Elegante Cuisine services were professional and delicious! I could not be happier with today’s event. Our event coordinator Victoria Spizzirri was attentive and detailed and more importantly on point with the total tone we wished to achieve for our event. The Krieschen Family thanks her and her colleagues for her attention to detail and the personal touch she provided to our event. We will use their services again and will recommend them for our future personal and professional events.
