After having a fire at our home in Wheaton, we found temporary housing in Elmhurst. We noticed this restaurant & decided to try it. Reviews on Yelp were good. Great service, food and atmosphere. We noticed many Hispanics there, indicating to us that it is an excellent restaurant. Loved the music that accompanied our meal. It took me back to my high school trip to Mexico in 1967. The owner, Oscar, made us feel welcome. I just wish they had “helado frito”. We had been to Cozymel’s and El Jimador restaurants in the past but both are gone now. This will be our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Tacos are the boom . Especially when they are a $1.00 on Tuesday and Thursday amazing. Sometimes it busy but it’s worth it for the price because they are about $4.00 each .

Food is good. The speed of service can be a little faster but overall good pork tacos and good steak tacos the burrito is delicious too and the free chips and salsa is delicious.
