“Man I have had some good food in my time. I have NEVER had a chicken sandwich like that before. I got the spicy honey butter fried chicken sandwich, which was not only the best chicken sandwich I have ever had but one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And don’t even get me started on the seasoned fries. Just the smell alone was worth it but the flavor was unbelievable. Definitely worth the short wait and the drive. Will be eating here again.”

“We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it”

“This past weekend a group ( 14 ) of us experienced a wonderful evening at Pazzi Di Pizza in Elmhurst. It was a fun get-together that was enhanced by great appetizers and varied, delicious pizzas. We also were served by some of the best and most courteous staff we have ever experienced. Marco, the Manager, who attentively scheduled our evening, came over, introduced himself, inquired about our needs, and then introduced us to Charlie, our evening's server. Charlie was exceptional!! It was our second time meeting at this venue, and I highly recommend a visit!”

“My friend had heard good things about the food at Modern Plate, so we decided to give it a shot. Very glad we did! The weather was delightful, so we were able to enjoy their outdoor seating. However, their indoor space looked very inviting. We started with a few very tasty cocktails (shout out to the blood orange gin fizz!). We ordered a variety of appetizers and dishes. While everything was delicious, the short rib parmesan risotto was my favorite. But the best part was truly the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything that we ordered and were able to tailor the orders to some of our pickier eaters. I look forward to visiting again soon!”

“I was taken to Roberto's by a friend for my birthday and from the time we walked in, felt welcome by Mary, the hostess! She actually knew what we had requested and made sure to accommodate us. Our server, Henry was delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu! It really doesn't matter what you order, everything is prepared beautifully and delicious. Zucchini flowers are a must! The grilled calamari was also delish! Appetizers are to share as they are generous portions as are the entrees!! The gentleman at the table next to us, a former Elmhurst resident, comes to Roberto's from Wisconsin, overheard it was our first time and confirmed whatever you order will be wonderful, especially the Zappa Du Pesce! The chicken saltimbocca was also a wonderful shared dish! As a complimentary “birthday bonus”, tiramisu was a perfect end to a perfect evening! Can't wait to go back!”

“Great staff, atmosphere is cozy like walking into a Japanese Ramen shop for locals not tourists where it's nice, warm, cozy and familiar and the food is divine. Spicy red miso Ramen and black garlic Ramen are just out of this world don't forget the seasoned egg and they have tons of broth so if you order a side of noodles you can eat twice cheap if you never finish the broth like me. Excellent place also try to Karage appetizer super moist and flavorful.

Parking: Parking out front is 10 min limit but if you walk around the corner the parking garage for the entire shopping district is a 1 min walk from Kan Ya and free up to 4 hours never have problem finding space on the first floor if you go early enough or when there isn't a festival. Don't park at the Walgreens across the street you will be towed.”

“We each got a veggie lunch special . I had the tofu in a red sauce it was best i literally ever had . The price was more than fair for the amount of food ! It was so well seasoned and cooked perfectly . The rice was so fluffy and amazing . I was also loving the crispy bread and dips as an appetizer that’s given before you order . Such a nice place to eat I highly recommend this place . Mild was mild it had just the right amount of spice . The hot was making my date sweat but he asked for hot and he got it lol Google and pre game the menu , if you are unsure what everything is incase you’re new to this type cuisine . But I assure you it will all taste good! Will definitely be back again !”

“These are probably the best doughnuts I've had. My wife and I love doughnuts, and get them wherever we go across the US and thisbplace was impressive. Most places donone thing well, but they did all things well. The old fashion doughnut was perfectly moist, the yeasted doughnuts soft, and the cronuts were soft and flaky. Flavors were creative and delicious with their creme brulee doughnut and mango doughnuts being probably the best doughnuts I've had. It's 30 min away from me and I'll happily make the drive to get more.Also wanted to repeat the mango doughnut is amazing, with the filling being just an explosion of delicious mango contrasted with their perfectly soft yeasted doughnut.”

“Brewpoint Craft Elmhurst is the superior location to it's Founder's Cafe. The interior is massive and has a industrial/modern interior with greenery to lighten the mood.

Their signature drinks are a symphony of spices and ingredients. They offer a blissful relief from life's worries.

On the other hand, their food options leave more to be desired. The cookies, scones, croissant, and other bakery goods compliment the coffee well. Just don't expect to supplement your lunch with them.

Overall, Brewpoint Craft Elmhurst surprised me the brew of their craft. I find myself visiting when I'm in the area, and can't wait to see what seasonal specials they have in store.”

“I’m definitely coming back. Hands-down ome of the BEST places I’ve had for pho!! I have visited many places searching for flavorful, soul-warming pho and this place definitely delivered. I also got their pad thai with shrimp and it was delicious!! The portion you get is also plentiful — both the soup and pad thai lasted me a couple days which was a plus!! Both the quality and quantity are well worth the price.

The young man behind the register was also very friendly and explained some items on the menu for me with ease and lack of judgement. The next time I come here (which will be very soon) I am going to dine in and bring some friends!”

“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.”

“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!”

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “I would like to commend Zach and Adrian. I haven’t been in a coffee shop other than Starbucks for a while. I usually get Hazelnut in normal hot coffee. To my dismay they didn’t have it, however both Adrian and Zach helped me pick out a great blend: mocha, rose and honey. I love my coffee sweet and they said to just leave it how it is, they already noted it as extra sweet. What a delicious cup of coffee! Also, they were just super nice and friendly. They are the type of employees that someone hires and others come back to see.. I believe Asher was on break or doing something in the background but she joined in on our convo and was also present and joyful. I give this place a 5 out of 5 and two thumbs up. I give Zach and Adrian 11 out of 10 for being very present and making me a blend that was outstanding. Owner- please consider giving them a raise. I'll be back.”

“I walked in one rainy day, and I never have been to this deli store, and I asked the man for a tunafish sandwich. It was the best tunafish sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. The bread was fresh. The tuna fish was fresh, the seasonings, he put Italian seasonings on this tuna fish sandwich, I will specially go to Elmhurst to eat this food. It is so good you need to try this place.”

The food presentation was somewhat different than what I was used to as my Chicken Pad Thai had a somewhat reddish hue, but the taste was splendid. The included spring roll was a tad oily, but was tasty. The portion was larger than I expected for the lunch special. I would definitely go again.”
