“This is located in Park to Shop. The food court area is pretty spacious. It’s one of the nicest looking food courts I’ve ever been to at any grocery store. Decoration is key. We ordered chicken satay, fish cakes, boat noodle, basil crispy pork, Thai iced tea, crab rangoon, and wonton noodle. Service was friendly. Overall, it’s a solid 4. I would go back but try more dishes.

-chicken satay 5 - chicken was very tender and well seasoned.
-fish cakes 3 - they were okay, nothing to wow you. I think the curry paste could be stronger.
-boat noodle 5 - it is served in a large bowl. The broth has a sweet and spicy mix. There is beef, noodles, pork rind, bean sprouts, and meatballs,
-basil crispy pork 3.5 - I feel like the pork was too crispy and chewy. I would have liked it to be a little bit softer, crispy, and juicy. No one likes eating tough meat.
-Thai iced tea 5 - standard, not watery.
-crab rangoon 5 - pretty standard. It had a lot of crab imitation and cream cheese.
-wonton noodle 5 - the wontons were very meaty. Don’t sleep on that broth, it’s very savory.“

“I got the yellow curry and it was amazing! I was in the mood for thai and tried this spot randomly and it did not disappoint. The servings are huge, perfect for leftovers. We also got the chicken satay and it was big juicy pieces of chicken. Can't wait to come here again.“

“Had a great experience at VIP Thai Cuisine! The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered the Crazy Noodles and the Tom Yum soup, and both were delicious. The Crazy Noodles had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, while the Tom Yum was rich, aromatic, and very satisfying. The service was friendly, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!“

“Lai Thai is our go-to spot! Our family has been going here for over a decade. This is the only restaurant in the area that has stayed consistent in quality, price, and service. They treat you with the hospitality of family. I personally love the yellow curry, pad thai, panang noodle, chicken satay, curry fried rice, and also the mango panna cotta! So good! We love Lai Thai!“

Amazing Pad Se Ew, sauce is great, broccolis are not overcooked as they should be, allowing the extra crunch factor instead of a completely soft vegetable.
Wonderful chicken satay paired with peanut sauce and a dish of cucumbers, a good combination.
The Pad Thai was delicious, portion was plenty for me. Spiciness well suited my taste.

One of the best Thai food places in the area with staff that is really friendly complete with a cozy dine in area with BYOB option for a fun night out with friends or family. It is important to support local business and I am proud to give a shout out to one of my favorite places to eat in the area. The green curry is one of my favorite. “I love this place.! The food has always delivered for me. I have been ordering from this place for a long time now. That being said recently I have noticed that the smoky chicken that I absolutely love from this place (no other place around me seems to have smoky chicken option) has had a bit of a texture change from how it used to be sometime ago. It seems to be a little more fried/crunchy rather then tender which is where it is the most delicious. I can't describe it exactly but I know it does not have the same texture as it once did. It is still very good regardless and I will continue to get it but I hope this gets seen and maybe offer some kind of explanation but I recommend this place!“

“We called and were told they would be open for our family event. Door was locked and lights off when we got here at noon. On our way back to the car we noticed the back door was open and when we asked they said they were ready to serve and went to unlock the door. By 1215 we were seated with ice water. 4 people had all you can eat sushi and 2 ordered off the menu. Off memu options were very large portions. We left happy and satisfied if not full. There was a discussion about who would pay the bill - I did not see it.“

“You MUST visit Mai Thai!! I was in town for a work conference and walked over to this place, since it was nearby. I ordered the Panang Noodles off website and got it as takeaway.

I cannot express in words how delicious this curry was!! The curry was a nice blend of sweet and peppery. The lemongrass was just enough to give it a nice fresh taste. Since I ordered this to go, the fried noodles came in separate box. This is my first time trying panang noodles, so I’m not sure if fried noodles is standard, but let me tell you having the noodles fried added such a nice complexity to this dish. 100/10

Sad that I don’t live closer, otherwise I would be here every week. Next time I come to Chicago, I am stopping here first!!“
