“Co-workers wanted to meet up for lunch and I am so glad they choose this place. They have some table and chairs inside, but it can be a tight fit during the lunch rush. The employees are helpful, and the place looked very clean. The menu has a lot of options, and I was happily surprised they have gluten free bread which was the best gluten free bread I have ever had a sandwich on. The contents on the sandwich were flavorful and you could tell they were fresh. It came with a side salad which had a great dressing on it. Overall, the meal was worth the price, and I would recommend trying them out yourself. I did spot a homemade galeto selection, but didn't indulge on this first trip, but I may need to check that out and report back in the future.“
“My daughter and I dined for the first time here today. the food and atmosphere was amazing. we had a couple pizza lunch specials and calamari. The best part was our server, Isael. He was attentive, friendly, and was just noticibly proud of where he works. We will definitely be back and requesting him as our server.“

“First time here. The Caesar Salad was a little lacking in flavor. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was super delicious... i added crumbled sausage and it was very flavorful.You can get Alfredo sauce though not on the menu. Rigatoni vodka was had by two people and they loved it.“

He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and on point! I ordered the Abruzzese based on his recommendation and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well as the ambience. Hana the bartender was amazing! I would definitely recommend Roberto's and will definitely be dining here again.“
“I have to say thank you to the restaurant employee, Angelo, who went out of his way to return a lost wallet. The wallet was lost in uptown Elmhurst and we searched all the areas where it might have been lost. Later in the evening a man showed up at our door with the wallet. He said a person found it and brought it into the restaurant. He was so thoughtful to bring it to us and was not expecting anything in return. This local family owned restaurant serves delicious food and has exceptional customer service! I highly recommend and I plan to keep it on my favorites list!“

“The best “fish fry” that we’ve experienced thus far in downtown Elmhurst or possibly all of Chicago!!! Why do you ask? The owner / management team (Dominic Ranieri & Nicolette Ranieri) aims to please by offering the true and proper “haddock and chips”! The batter is perfectly proportionate to the size of the fillet and not greasy. Then comes one of the best old fashions we’ve had. Why? Their amazing bartender, Evey, knows exactly how we prefer them and she never disappoints. Last, but certainly not least, the service is always impeccable from our most favorite waitress, @Alisandra Mondrella! She’s prompt, professional, and always with a smile! “First time order for a group of 50 glass collector enthusiasts and volunteers at our annual glass society event.Ordered the pizza party for 30 and added a few more pizzas for 50 people to celebrate the glass show success and breakdown for venders. Delicious pizzas, a variety of toppings, delivered HOT with pepper flakes and Parm cheese, plates and napkins. All personal feed back was Positive. Better than previous years with another company. So good to have it delivered and hot. Loved the variety. The delivery man was great and went out of his way to please us. Will order again.Thankyou.“
“Sunday lunch was a wonderful experience for several reasons. The restaurant was open according to their posted store hours. A few years ago, this would have been a silly compliment. But these days, we have had several encounters in which we would arrive at an eatery and notice the doors are still locked even though it's past their usual store open hours. Needless to say, service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our party of six shared the smoked trout dip, calamari, charred pepperoni pizza, white mushroom and truffle pizza, Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu. The smoked trout dip is a tad high on sodium but I really like how it was served with flaxseed crackers. The pizza are served Romana style, therefore rectangular and fluffy. The crust is thin but with a crunch. Even better, they are half-price on Sundays!“
