After having a fire at our home in Wheaton, we found temporary housing in Elmhurst. We noticed this restaurant & decided to try it. Reviews on Yelp were good. Great service, food and atmosphere. We noticed many Hispanics there, indicating to us that it is an excellent restaurant. Loved the music that accompanied our meal. It took me back to my high school trip to Mexico in 1967. The owner, Oscar, made us feel welcome. I just wish they had “helado frito”....

Food is good. The speed of service can be a little faster but overall good pork tacos and good steak tacos the burrito is delicious too and the free chips and salsa is delicious.

Taco Tuesday is when we visited twice. The first time I tried their tacos, but I didn't like them. However, everyone else in my group enjoyed them, so it must be me. Other than that, it gets super busy on Taco Tuesday and it could be difficult to find a table, which further confirms that it is my own taste in food that does not cut it with the tacos. Otherwise, the service is great, all employees are helpful and smiling considering the craziness on Tuesdays. The atmosphere...
