However, when my turn came up, three groups entered and were seated while I waited. Frustrated, I was about to cancel my reservation when I was told my table was next. I decided to cancel and instead went to the Egg Harbor in Hinsdale, where the service is better and prompt.

If you’re looking for a place that gets it right across the board, Egg Harbor Elmhurst is it. The food was outstanding—flavorful, fresh, and served at the right pace. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask twice. You can tell they care about the experience as much as the meal. I’ll definitely return, and I’ll keep recommending Egg Harbor Elmhurst to anyone looking for a great spot.

I haven’t been inside the restaurant but I regularly order from door dash. They have the best omelets and coffee!! Gets a little pricey but that’s a DoorDash problem lol I love this place. Need to sit down soon!

Stopped in for a Sunday breakfast with friends and had a wonderful experience. Even with a lively crowd, seating moved along smoothly. The special I chose was full of flavor, and the coffee paired perfectly with the homemade jam. With such a wide variety on the menu, this is definitely a place worth returning to again.

We have loved coming to Egg Harbor since they opened many years ago. We have dined at many of the Egg Harbor locations. Our most recent visit to Elmhurst Egg Harbor may have changed our feelings for Egg Harbor. The new menu is aweful. It is confusing, does not have any of our favorite meals listed, and it seems you are trying to squeeze as much money out of every order as possible. Everything is an add on. Unfortunately, as long as this new menu is on the table, we won't be at your table.
I felt my experience was disappointing, given the quality of the food that we had and the price of it all. For these prices, I expected better tasting options items and bigger portions. My dining experience, from a food standpoint, was exactly average. The service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was fine for a Sunday morning, but the food didn’t excite me and I was disappointed in how expensive everything was. Also, the menu makes the price very hard to read given there are no dollar signs. Make it easy for people to know that your pancakes are going to be $17.00 with nothing on the side.

Had a fantastic breakfast here! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. I ordered the cheery wood avocado toast benedict, and it was prepared perfectly.
