Great service. Food was ok. Way Too pricey for the small amounts & quality of food.
Got Zucchini fries but very greasy & a lot of the fries had no Zucchini so that was disappointing. Homemade French onion dip was nothing special. The mix you make at home tastes way better than the tiny mason jar you get with a tiny bowl of chips. Way overpriced. I dont care if its in YUPPY ELMHURST. Should have been $8 for each appetizer. Gia Mia's zucchini fries are way better, no greasy mess. Also ordered BBQ pizza. Just ok, way too much crust/bread. Overpriced for the original size. Wouldn't order again. Won't be back. Way better places in area to check out.

Had lunch with my sister and my nieces also my husband . Edgar was our server he was amazing!

Always good to come on a Sunday when their pizzas are half off. I haven't had the rest of the food so very limited availability to comment on the menu

This review is based on take out experience. We’ve dined her in the restaurant several times and enjoyed it. We ordered takeout today and received the wrong pizza and on top of that it was burnt. Very disappointed. Would not order takeout out from here again.

Updated: My husband and I are pleased to share that Carmen, the manager, is truly exceptional! She was able to secure the high-top booth we had requested. On this occasion, we sampled the Eggplant & Heirloom Tomato appetizer, the smoked salmon risotto, and the short rib polenta, and we were thoroughly impressed. The experience was truly wonderful! All we can say is Wow!!
*Original review; The food, service, and drinks were truly exceptional! We have had the pleasure of visiting twice now and are thoroughly delighted! The ambiance and music are wonderful, and we enjoyed dining al fresco on this occasion! We savored the Mediterranean Spritz and Summer Fitz cocktails, and they were simply delicious! We also indulged in the Zucchini fritters and Arancini Alla Vodka appetizers, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful! For our main courses, we sampled the Chicken Caprese, Burger with housemade chips and their Rockethouse Pizza, and everything was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend giving it a try! You will not be disappointed! Our servers this time were Sandi and Katie! The manager, Carmen, is so kind and visited our table, ensuring we were pleased with everything and even offered us complimentary dessert! It was truly a wonderful experience!

I visited this location September 7th 2025!

Every time that I walked past this place seemed like an absolutely amazing place it was always busy, the smells, smelled amazing. The food looked amazing from a distance everything that one would want from an amazing restaurant that I keep hearing about.

My concern is and I want to make sure everyone is aware of this I do not think this restaurant understands how cleanliness works as most of the silverware, cups etc etc had caked on food. Now I understand things happen dishwashers break but the silverware was wrapped up by hand meaning a staff member did not see the caked on food it was absolutely disgusting which also brings up the other point that if our silverware cups and plates were dirty what about all the silverware cups plates etc that The cooks and chef make the food with were they clean?

The sad part was I was super hungry and I really wanted to try their food but after me seeing the cleanliness issue I lost my appetite which made me very sad.

I kindly let the hostess know that we would be leaving as the cleanliness of this establishment was below any sort of health inspection rating when it comes down to the cleanliness of the utensils and China for sure. I did not check the bathroom I did not go any further after finding the issues with all of the silverware plates etc etc but I have been food poisoned in the past and this will not be a place I'll be testing that with.

I will tell you that the hostess and the waitress was very nice the hostess understood and she said she was very sorry that we had that experience. I let her know that I will no longer be coming back and I will be letting all my friends and family know not to come to this establishment ever as I said that My family, friends, and I have gotten food poisoning from reasons like this in the past from other restaurants. Surprise surprise those restaurants didn't actually make it they went out of business.

If you want to be a successful business my recommendation is correct these issues or I guarantee you'll be closed permanently in Elmhurst IL.

Would definitely come back! I have driven past Ella’s a few times and finally decided to try it out! We got drinks which were all really great- I recommend the sunset spritz it was cute and tasty. We got the calamari as an appetizer and it was very unique. There were some fried veggies in it which were surprisingly good. I then got the Ella’s house pizza. The petite size was perfect for me I ate the entire thing. It was a very unique flavor but I liked it. The service and ambiance was also on point. Overall we had a great experience!
