Worse experience Iāve had in a long time if not ever. First off I tried calling at 6:30pm 6 different times and my call never got answered. My wife and I went in and ordered for are family of 4. When we got home we realized they forgot my wifeās rib tips. Again we called but no one picked up. We then drove back to the location explaining their mistake, and had asked them to remake my sandwich as well due to the fact itās going be cold for me having to drive back out to get my wifeās food. The employee then proceeded to say āIāll let you slide this timeā as if I was in the wrong. Then immediately went to talking bad about us to his buddies in the back. I will never come to this location again

I love this place every time going in here it's been a minute I usually get the chicken tacos owner said they changed the menu but he would still make them for me. The tacos where delicious along with getting a side of Mac and cheese never tried it from there and no regrets!

1st time trying Firewater & it was so good. I had the Black Angus Brisket sandwich n it was amazing. The cornbread was also greatā staff is super nice as well & even took the time to tell us more about the place

I've eaten a lot of BBQ in my day, but this was quite exceptional! Eating these fries should be a competitive sport. They're super delicious and it's a generous portion for $17. I can't imagine any one person eating these in a single sitting but I'd certainly watch them try!

I canāt stop thinking about the meal I had at Firewaterāit was shockingly good! The killin part is I didn't even wanna go there. This is my first time in Chicago and literally my FIRST meal in Chicago...Firewater (found on Yelp) did NOT disappoint!!! Letās start and END with the brisket: it was hands down the most tender, flavorful brisket Iāve ever had. The brisket DISSOLVES in your mouth and it's seasoned to perfection. They have sauces but you're really doing the meat a disservice by adding the sauce. Jus' sayin. BUT if you must, the sauces are a perfect match for the seasoning that's already on the meat. We also tried the chicken, beans, cornbread, fried pickles and FRENCH FRIES! OMGGGGGG EVERYTHING was seasoned to perfection and the flavors complimented each other perfectly. Joe, one of the staff members (or he could have been the owner), was an absolute gem. He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about both the beers and the menu. He took the time to explain everything, make recommendations, and his pride in the brisket was evidentāand rightfully so! Joe could stand on top of the building and beat his chest about that brisket and it would be well within his right!!!!
The menu is full of options. Everything we tried was amazing. There wasnāt a single miss. Great food, great service & Joe and the brisket alone are worth the visit. Before I leave Chicago I WILL BE BACK!!!

This place is absolutely a go to restaurant!!! Yesterday was my first day ever going, and I was greeted by an associate at the register name Vanessa. She exhibited awesome customer service and hospitality. She assisted me with my order, and the food was absolutely awesome. The entire staff was "Great', and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back!!!ššÆš

I really like this place. The food is super good. Just be careful when ordering through DoorDash or placing and online order. Iām not sure if notes are not being read correctly on the order. If I donāt order in person Iām constantly missing food it has happens 3 times so far. Thereās an option to add a kicker or rib taster ect. When you select your meal and those add ons are never received. No pickles or jalapeƱos are giving either when they are requested. All in all food very good just need to review the orders online a little more thoroughly.

Great brisket and cornbread but I especially liked the fried pickles. They were very crispy and the batter was well seasoned. The service was great everyone was really nice. Definitely want to go back and try the desserts.
It's already late at night and we still run from Oak Park to Elmhurst for a special BBQ. The shop is designed in a bold Chicago style. There are many combos to choose from and many dishes to eat. 1 combo is enough for 2 people to eat. The Slow Smoked Ribs and grilled chicken wings are excellent. The restaurant is spacious, has a toy area for children, fast service, and prices are cheaper than imagined. There are many types of tables suitable for many options.
