Let me share that I do NOT take my birthday lightly. My husband chose Francesca’s in Elmhurst for my birthday date night and I am nothing short of impressed. The hand cut pasta, the fresh produce and seafood, and the pure joy Fernando, Gina, and Giana exude made my evening extraordinary.

Overall very kind waitress and support staff as well. Manager was walking around making sure everything was going well. It was Valentine's Day so it was pretty busy and the only reservation available was a 9:30, even though the restaurant closes at 10. We didn't get any bread on our table, and had to ask for it. Same with dessert menu. I think everyone was really tired as it was the end of the day, but I don't think they should have offered such a late reservation cause that automatically keeps wait staff there way beyond closing time. Food was alright, a little overpriced for the taste and value. Overall I would eat here again!

Wish I could provide a review of the food but never received it. By some miracle they managed to bring us our appetizer after about 40 minutes but after that we sat for an hour and change waiting for our food and were provided 1 water each for myself and my wife the entire time with no refills while we waited and waited. The couple next to us, who had arrived and were seated shortly after us, had received and finished their food before we ever even visited by the waitress about the delay and were talking about their disbelief in that we hadn't been helped. After an hour or so they finally brought the food 20 minutes before the restaurant was set to close. We asked for a to go box given the circumstances and the manager still had the audacity to only want to comp our appetizer at first after talking to us in such a patronizing tone that I could only describe it as the way you would talk to a small child. From the manager to the waitress the entire operation seemed unserious, though I'll extended grace to the busboy who brought our food and to go box as he was the only one that genuinely appeared sorry for what had happened. I'd rate this 0 stars if I could.

Service was great. We ordered a pasta dish and a steak dish. Pasta was great, steak was medium (vs medium rare requested) and fatty and very salty. Would try some different next time.

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at Francesca’s Amici Elmhurst. The event coordinator, Nancy, was hands down the best. She is well experienced and has a true talent. Our group of nearly 80 people were very comfortable in the private room. There was plenty of room for our guests to enjoy a standing cocktail hour followed with a sit down dinner. The food was even better the evening of, kudos to the kitchen. And they did any excellent job making sure they were well staffed for the event. The staff was EXCELLENT, attentive and helpful.

The food was very very good. Everything was well maintained and the variety was very good. There was just the perfect amount to choose from. Cocktail was delicious. We had the Thanksgiving buffet and it didn't disappoint. The turkey was perfect, stuffing and cranberry sauce and green beans were perfect. I would go again.

Great staff, great food. We ordered the salmon and rigatoni w/vodka sauce. Also had the meatballs. To me meatballs were pretty bland, but everything else was delicious.

We were visiting for 1 night to see a show at Stage 119. The location was perfect, which is why we picked it. The staff were all so friendly. The menu options were amazing. The food was delicious. My husband is hard of hearing so restaurants are usually an issue for conversation. This restaurants had amazing noise levels and we were able to visit right along without any issues. If we ever have a reason to come back here, we will definitely come back.
We frequent here often. We enjoy Dani the bartender her company is very friendly and pleasant. Enrique always has great recommendations from the menu. Food is always excellent. Great place! Very friendly staff. Everyone is always so happy:)

I love this restuarant. My only complaint is they should tell you that the ceasar salad comes with anchovies. A lot of people know that the dressing is made with them but don't necessarily want them on top
