Picked up a pizza from Gia Mia’s Elmhurst and got home to find almost no prosciutto or arugula on it. This has happened the last few times I’ve ordered—really disappointing. Needs to be more consistent

I did not find their food to be anything special. It was very average in my view. The staff were very nice and friendly and we enjoyed the experience.

Since Gia Mia opened this has been one of our favorite restaurants to go to. The staff has been very friendly and the atmosphere is vibrant and fun. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good.

I have been to multiple Gia Mia locations around the Chicago suburbs and the Eggplant Parmigiano is consistently amazing. It is crispy, flavorful, and the sauce with the arugula ties everything together so well. I keep coming back just for that dish because it never disappoints.
I also tried the paccheri vodka and it was not my favorite since I did not enjoy the sauce, but the eggplant alone makes this place worth visiting. Overall great food and a solid spot for Italian in the suburbs.

Service was amazing! Our waitress was beyond helpful, but the food just wasn’t it. It tasted like artificial Italian food. Pasta wasn’t hot, pizza was cold, even the apps were just ok. My favorite was the bread dipped in the ranch dressing given with the zucchini fries (lol). They also don’t have many food options on their menu. I do not see myself going to any Gia Mia again for Italian food.

The restaurant has a very great vibe to it from the lighting to the tables. It’s more of a modern day Italian restaurant. The vodka sauce is great,Also the steak and salmon. I would definitely Dine at this place again.
Awesome food - ate at the bar and the bartender was very nice, busted her butt handling both bar customers and svc bar.

Food was Awesome except I wish they didn't remove some of their famous burrata pies. Why would they do that?

Wonderful place to stop and share an appetizer and a (few) glass of wine! And if you are lucky enough to have Sarah B as your server, you may not want to leave any time soon! She is just wonderful.

We had my sons rehearsal dinner here on 9/18. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive and kind. The food was great! They have a private room area. Working to set up the event was excellent. They took any stress away and allowed us to enjoy the event with our friends and family. Thank you!

Something has changed at Gia Mia’s in Elmhurst! Last night I ordered one of my favorites, the shrimp and arugula salad which usually has tender spicy shrimp, lots of tomatoes and avocados and is full of flavor. However that wasn’t what I was served Tuesday night. I counted 3 tiny tomatoes pieces, 2 small chunks of avocado and the shrimp were black and crusty! Very disappointed!!!

My family has gotten food poisoning from here 3 different times. Once last summer and it was so bad my sister went to the hospital. Be careful!
I had a nice experience here. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. It’s a good spot for a quick coffee, a small meeting, or just some quiet time to relax or work.
