Ordered online and my food was done on time and was delicious, we had the pulled pork and tater tot casserole. The owner was very friendly and the restaurant has a really cool rough finished shed look to it. I’ll definitely be back

Top tier bbq, even better customer service. I placed an online order for delivery for my family dinner and got a notification that the food was picked up and on the way. I live fairly close to the restaurant so I was surprised when I saw that the delivery driver (third party service) was in a different town and my ETA kept getting longer and longer. I called the restaurant and told them about the issue and actually ended up being put on with The owner Joey. This guy ended up repacking my order and hand delivering it himself!!! Great guy. 10/10 bbq 10/10 customer service.

This was by far some of the best bbq I've had outside of Texas!! The jalapeno cheddar sausage was huge and had the perfect casing snap and taste. The brisket was perfectly smoked and tasted unbelievable. I will be eating here a lot more!!

Got a pull pork sandwich. It was inedible. Extremely dry and tough. So much fat on there. Tater tot casserole was so greasy. Mac and cheese had no flavor and you could tell was re-heated since pieces were hard. What was worse was we went to the halfway house golf area. Order 2 drinks and it took 30 mins to get. I had to ask 3 people where our drinks were. What was even worse was the server says if we want more that we need to find her and let her know since the system was acting weird. Not professional. Will not be going back.

We threw a birthday party at Golden Boy for my Mom and it exceeded our expectations. The food, people, and location were amazing! Most importantly, the smoked meat: mouth-watering. I've lived in Central Texas for almost 20 years, and while I am no BBQ expert, I know that what Joe is doing here is the Central Texas way! I wish I could send him some of our wood. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were SPOT ON. The staff felt like family. ...There is a small town in Texas outside of Austin called Rockdale. This guy Brett had the best meat and smoker set-up in town. It was so good, they elected him mayor. Just sayin' ....

We catered pulled pork and ribs from Golden Boy BBQ this past weekend, and it was a hit! I picked up everything Friday night, and it came with slider buns and sauce in cute bottles. I served it the next day. The meat was incredible, and the ribs were the favorite. Everyone raved about them! Well done, Golden Boy, we’ll definitely be back for more! Thank you!

This was fun and lively place! Especially for the summer the interior, music and outdoor space was very nice. Some of our items (pulled pork, corn) were quite delicious, others could be so much better (the ribs were a bit dry with barely any meat on it). It’s a bit of self serve(after ordering) / seat your self type place. We did not drink, but I they had a good drink/bar selections
