I had high hopes for Guac n Tacos, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly, but it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to even come by and take our drink and appetizer order, despite the restaurant not being busy at all.
We started off with the guacamole and chips, hoping for something special since “Guac” is in the restaurant’s name. Sadly, the guac was very mediocre—definitely not what I expected. I’ve had much better guacamole elsewhere.
For our main course, we ordered the veggie tacos and the veggie bowl. Both were disappointing. The flavors were lackluster, and the overall quality just wasn’t there.
Given the slow service and underwhelming food, I don’t think I’d come back. There are plenty of other places that offer better service and more flavorful food.

Our favorite taco place in Elmhurst… most tasty tacos… everything is always delicious. Consistency could use improvement but we always find it tasty anyway.

My first time there - but there were a couple of things I wished were different.
1) the size of the glass for the Margarita wish it was bigger especially for the price you paid - *but the drink was good
2) the chicken tacos I ordered were (ok) the chicken was in chunks and too dry so it made it hard to eat my friend had the chicken burrito and she had the same problem ? would definitely go back and try something else.

I ordered six tacos through Grubhub and got them delivered, but they completely ignored our special requests. I ordered chorizo tacos but they gave use beef. The pastor tacos had zero pineapple and were in corn tortillas even though I asked for flour. The food was excellent for what it was. It just wasn’t what we asked for.

The best food in Elmhurst! I was skeptical at first, and am very picky about food and drink and this place had the best food and margs I've had--EVER. Definitely a must if you are visiting or live in the area! They are also way more affordable, honestly should charge more!

Very bland. If you are a generic taste bud person might be for you
Stopped by Guac and Tacos and ordered the chicken tacos dinner and the flautas dinner to go. The order came out within 5-10 minutes and was very delicious. The flautas were perfectly crispy and season amazingly. The tacos were nicely packed with chicken, cilantro and onions, and came with limes to add. The beans and rice were also very good. A little bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Would definitely eat here again. The staff were also very friendly.
We'll never go back! We have ordered dinners to go before, unfortunately now they put the food in Styrofoam containers!! Most of the food was ruined with the taste of Styrofoam burned into the food. We could only eat the small portion of the food that has not come in contact with the Styrofoam! Food too expensive for the use of Styrofoam containers. Very disappointed

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in town, but service has been very poor lately. Last time we came, the waitress took our drink order for Margaritas and dinner. Came back with my husbands drink but said they did t have the spicy margarita ingredients. I said no problem I’ll take the classic. Waited 15 minutes or so, nothing. Reminded her our chips/salsa had not come as well as my drink. Promised to check, nothing again. Our dinner arrived then, still no chips or drink. Finally waved someone else down who brought the chips, no drink yet. Finally went inside to ask her again, this has now been 30 minutes. She said it hadn’t been made yet and another waitress offered to make it. At this point I cancelled it since I’d already finished my meal. So we ate entree first, chips second and never got the drink. Sorry was the only excuse I got. It was not my normal experience when the owner is there so hoping things improve. Others were complaining of service and pickup seemed a mass of confusion too.
