Elmhurst Kilwins is family operated/owned. Every time I go into the store I feel welcomed. Their candies are perfection. Meghan, one of the owners, was so gracious in helping me getting special Christmas gift chocolates for my family.

This place is expensive but that has not prevented me from swinging by once in a while for some good ice cream. Unfortunately Kilwins has changed their sizing and moved away from "scoops" and gone to "cups". By doing so they have reduced the amount of ice cream that you get. Which now makes the cost hard to justify. Just came through and ordered two 2-scoop cups. the cost was $17+change and we got a VERY small amount of ice cream. My two scoops didn't even fill the cup. With the amount that they are now serving VS the cost, it is much more difficult to go back here.
The staff was very polite and helpful and the store was clean.

Outrageously expensive. They need to make new flavors and have more rotating flavors. Their “new flavors” are still the same flavors they had last year ?. Lastly, they need more gluten free/dairy free options.

We liked that it was open later, and they have really tasty treats. We had the cone and pumpkin pie ice cream, and it was delicious. It had lots of chunks mixed in.

The children love an ice cream after a hot day, on this occasion we pleased them by taking them to kilwins, and it met our expectations Its combinations and flavors; charm to everyone present. Even though some were very sweet and you reach the point of not wanting more. Nobody left anything. Very good.

absolutely delicious ice cream. could eat it everyday if i could and the staff is so sweet. as soon as i walked in i was greeted with smiling faces of the employees. i believe an employee named Ian served me. He was the sweetest person i’ve ever been served by. he gave me some excellent advice and suggestions on what to order as well as asked me about my day and seemed genuinely interested in the conversation all well doing his job wonderfully.
