Great food and wonderful service ea & every time I visit. Mack the owner is a great guy always happy, smiling, cordial & fun! One of my fave restaurants to visit last 20 yrs. Even had my son's wedding brunch at Mack's superior service! Food was delicious. I'm Czech with cert in gourmet cooking yrs back and they are #1 in Czech cuisine with me and hospitality. Best burgers ever!

So based on the business information this spouse to be Czech restaurant. Honestly this must be some misunderstanding because the food they serve has nothing to do with Bohemian or Czech cuisine . The beef soup with liver dumpling wasn't fresh but the "liver dumplings" looks like Chinese potstickers . Soup was made from beef broth stock (can) no vegetables . So I ask the owner what's going on with the dish and he said that's what it is. Overall overpriced food and poor presentation.Reuben sandwich was to dry . Cheap ingredients and the tables has some issues needs to be fixed. Not recommended to anyone.

Order filet migon medium and came out rare then sent it back then came back really well done and no taste and dry as F i will not be back they packed it up and I gave it to my dog. Not an I am sorry nothing!

Visiting from our if State. My husband and I shared the Bohemian dish, which was half duck, pork, dumplings, kraut, gravy, and a salad, I added onion soup. Awesome. We shared the dinner and both left full. The onion soup also full of flavor. Remind me of great grandma cooking... Everything from scratch. Ambience very warm and full of history. Staff was also very pleasant and busy. They provided above service to everyone. If we lived closer, we would be here once a week try exploring this beautiful restaurant and menu... Thank you for a nostalgic supper!

A group of my friends and I went here today for dinner. I just wanted to shoutout to David who was helping wait on us and really provide top notch service. He was very kind and attentive! We had young children with us and he made sure to grab dishes to help keep their areas clean. 10/10 for customer service from David!!

Also the breaded chicken breast sandwich is also delicious! So crispy every time!

Phenomenal food! I came from Michigan and it was the best Alfredo I’ve ever had in my life. The homemade bread was fantastic as well. Everything’s made from scratch here. 10 out of 10 on the food, service, and atmosphere

I ordered roast pork, sauerkraut, and dumplings to go. I got my salad. I did not get my soup. However they gave me an extra serving of sauerkraut. I don’t know if that breaks even but the salad was delicious with the croutons. The bread was still warm and the portion and the sizeof the roast pork is enough for four meals for me. It was moist and delicious as well as the dumplings with gravy. This is my third time here I just wish it wasn’t so far from my home.

It was an awesome experience and the food was great. Every one was so extremely kind to my granddaughter my daughter and my daughter’s boyfriend. The vicinity was clean and stylish. My granddaughter had a burger with only ketchup and lettuce. Overall I highly recommend “Mack’s Golden Pheasant”!!!

The good: The highlight of our visit here was the service. Our server, Heather, was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a larger group and she took care of us with the grace and ease of a seasoned pro. She even offered to take a group photo of our family on their patio (which is very nice btw). I think it's fair to say that Heather may be one of the best servers I've ever had. The rest of the staff were all moving quickly and working hard, but never seemed unpleasant or unfriendly. The food portions are huge. The saurkraut I received with my meal was incredibly good. My Dad said the French Onion soup was the best he's had in a very long time.
The average: The rest of the food was very good, but not great. The dumplings were smaller than I'd hoped for.
The bad: The lighting here is also incredibly dark. We had a couple of seniors in our group that could not read the menu or even see the food on their plate. I know you're going for cozy and warm, but the dimness was a tad overdone.

Overall, we definitely enjoyed our experience here and I hope to come back. Thank you again Heather for making us feel welcome and taking such good care of us!

5 stars. Great restaurant

Really, they don't have many restaurants like this anymore. The abundance of good food with soup and salad along with a very reasonable price. Nice old European atmosphere as well. Really love coming here for a great dining experience.
