I love that Elmhurst has added an Indian restaurant to their town. I have never tried this type of food until Maharaj opened. Absolutely delicious food. Great location. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the lunch specials. Tiki Masala, Buttered Chicken, Naan, Basmati rice & the lentils are a must try!

The food was flavorful and not lacking in spice. Garlic naan was great too. However the lack of stars comes from overpriced small portions. It was like 10 pieces of meat combined in my butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. Disappointing when you’re almost paying $20 per entree. And plain rice isn’t included with the curries!! That was extremely appalling for an Indian restaurant. This was a one time visit for me.
