This place isn't bad. We went when it wasnt busy and got seated right away. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. The food part though was a bit tasteless but not horrible. You wouldn't really think much of this place passing by and looks like it might be run down but I just think it's because it's been there for years. It was pretty clean on the inside though.

The review would be higher. About four weeks ago they got a new manager. Service went down fast, apparently new hands tried fixing what was already working. One thing that is annoying is when the guy working the register walks behind the counter and butters a customer's toast. Two pieces of advice, wash your hands, and go back to the register. Portions are smaller, the omelettes used to be huge, now they're on a diet, perhaps they should get smaller plates. Also they should put a limit on how long apparently homeless people sit at the counter. If a person is done eating when I get there, and they are still there when I leave, that's two long. Two pieces of advice, shower (WITH SOAP PLEASE) or find some place else to hang out, library or starbucks come to mind.

This place is a hidden gem! The French Onion soup is AMAZING. Probably the best I have ever had! Homemade food at a great price. Ask for Rosa, she is so sweet! Will be back again.

It's hard to find a good Reuben sandwich but I found one here at the Oasis. The skirt steak looked great I'm going to try it next time, it's big enough to have leftovers for lunch.

Loved it! Looks sorta dumpy outside but be sure to go in - great home-cooking and service. I knocked one star off for overcooked / dry ham on my plate but everything other part of our brunch was spot-on!

Great place for a morning breakfast! Stopped here for breakfast before heading to Wisconsin. The staff was friendly and accomidating for our large group. Ordered and eggs/pancakes/hashbrowns/sausage. Would go again.

Love the food at this restaurant!! We have been staying at a hotel near this place and have had breakfast at this restaurant 3 mornings in a row. I highly recommend the Garden/Veggie omelet!! The ingredients were so fresh!! It consisted of large chunks of avocado ( no brown on the chunks at all ), tomatoes, onions, red pepper and white cheese. I never finish any omelette I get but this was made to perfection and I ate all of it!! All of the meals we ate here were fresh and delicious. Great service and really enjoyed visiting with the owner. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!
