I really enjoyed eating breakfast here All the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Staff is very friendly and courteous as well I would definitely recommend trying something on the menu here.

The Prairie Café in Elmhurst is one of those rare gems hidden in plain sight. The husband-and-wife team are so amazing, we go out of our way once a year to when we are in Chicago to go there for breakfast. Mimi in the front of the house remembers what we like to the person for all five of us. The prices are on the low side and the portions generous. Two things stand out though the repartee with Mimi tops the list, but the nuanced flavors bring back memories of how my mother made...

My first time here and got a great big welcome from Mimi. She was all smiles and made me feel right at home. Ordered the Denver omelet with feta and it was amazing. I only get to the Chicago area a couple of times a year now, but when I do I will definitely be back!
