We were so appreciate of the staff and they were so kind as we celebrated the life of our friend. They accommodated us and were flexible with our reservation numbers that kept fluctuating. Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Thank you for being so gracious at a difficult time!

What a difference a few years make. 4 years ago we really liked this place. Our last visit (3/20/26) was a different experience. My wife was disappointed by the tacos she ordered, (both the fish and coconut shrimp) and the skirt steak Fajitas were disappointing. The steak seemed like it was not marinated, and bit tough and not seasoned. Skillet was not sizzling. Seemed like it was not cooked fresh but reheated? Very disappointing. I took home the rest of the meat for my dog. Salsa included with the chips was not tasty to us. Weird choice to give grren salsa with the chips. Asked for a red salsa instead. Was charged $4 for a little container of it. It was OK, but I wouldn't have paid extra for it. We were not told of the charge when we asked. Jessica never mentioned it. The Queso cheese for the chips was the best thing. Our local Mexican restaurants are all better. This is no longer an upscale place. Still charging the upscale prices though. We won't be back here.

Amazing experience at Primo’s Loco! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all excellent, but what really made the night stand out was the service. Isabella and Abraham were amazing bartenders — friendly, attentive, and they made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. They were not only professional but also made the whole experience fun and welcoming. You can tell they really care about their customers. If you stop by Primo’s Loco, definitely ask for Isabella and Abraham. They truly made our visit memorable. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are very happy we dined here tonight! The food was fresh and flavorful (starting with the chips and salsa), the service was prompt and warm, and the atmosphere, beautiful— the walls are covered with colorful paintings that create the mood.

I frequent Primos because I live within walking distance, and it has become my go-to spot. They serve the best margaritas in Elmhurst, and the tacos never disappoint.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a bit more lime and salt to the guacamole and ceviche, and I would love to see a red salsa offered on the house instead of the traditional green.
I recently hosted a birthday here for 15 guests, and the experience was fantastic. Everyone loved the food and the service, and we were seated on the patio, which made it even better.
Don’t let the occasional neighborhood complainer deter you. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurants in Elmhurst.

Well this was just a quick stop grabbing something on a way to do mobile massages and noticed the sign im always in the mood for some good mexican food and Primos Locus did not disappoint. Ill definitely be coming back to elmhurst for the food and drinks.

All around perfect for Mexican food dining. The restaurant was very clean and presentable. Music selection was excellent. Food was delicious and the margaritas were top tier. Definitely a must go if you are in Elmhurst!
