I frequent Primos because I live within walking distance, and it has become my go-to spot. They serve the best margaritas in Elmhurst, and the tacos never disappoint.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a bit more lime and salt to the guacamole and ceviche, and I would love to see a red salsa offered on the house instead of the traditional green.
I recently hosted a birthday here for 15 guests, and the experience was fantastic. Everyone loved the food and the service, and we were seated on the patio, which made it even better.
Don’t let the occasional neighborhood complainer deter you. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurants in Elmhurst.

Well this was just a quick stop grabbing something on a way to do mobile massages and noticed the sign im always in the mood for some good mexican food and Primos Locus did not disappoint. Ill definitely be coming back to elmhurst for the food and drinks.

The food was well seasoned, maybe even a bit too spicy but I prefer not spicy. The margaritas were not drinkable. I tried a few times to take a sip but it was a no for me.

Quality of food is not good, tortillas were hard, the nachos tasted stale and when we ordered the fajita’s they forgot about the guacamole and sour cream . Much better restaurants in the neighborhood.
