Roberto's is family owned and fabulous. The owner walks table to table greeting people and not only is the Food outstanding, the wait staff are polite attentive and friendly. We especially like nico and Nick as waiters.
Roberto's is our family go to place for consistent delicious real Italian food. Everything, from the light and airy fried calamari to the stuffed clams, to the pizza is always perfect, and the pasta is to die for. The tiramisu is made in house and it was so light and perfectly sweetened. The cannolis are just like my grandma‘s a true authentic gem. Can't wait to go back.
My Branzino was bad, spoiled. I had to spit it out. They didn't charge me for it, but I will not be going back to this restaurant.
Celebrated a birthday at Roberto's last night, 4/1. Had a wonderful time with very attentive service from Adele with helpful suggestions on wine and entrees. Food was all delicious, and we all took leftovers home. I grew up in Elmhurst ordering pizza from the original Roberto's, so coming back is always a bit nostalgic, and last night did not disappoint!
Good service, nice seating outside on a warm night, food was excellent, overall a very good experience
We were here for a funeral lunch, so a very sad family occasion, but the service was outstanding! They accomodated our table of food allergies with an absolutely delicious salmon dish, huge, rich, amazing! I did not try any of the breads, pasta, or desserts, but everything served family style to the non-celiac parts of our family disappeared at once. I would absolutely go back for a happier occasion. My cousin, who grew up in Elmhurst, chose Roberto's because it was his mom's absolute favorite place, and the lunch was in her memory.

Food and service were outstanding! We wanted to sit outside since the weather was absolutely perfect, but there was nothing available, so they put us in the dining area. We had the fried calamari and baked clams for appetizers, breaded pork chop, the Halibut w/ Jalapeño sauce and the mixed grilled fish platter...all of it was absolutely delicious and Josephine our server was the best...top notch!

This review is coming from someone who is both a customer that has tried the food and as a neighbor in the area.
First critique is that the food is good but not as good as the price would have you believe. But people like it so that is not my issue. My issue is that the employees in this establishment have been very rude to me as a neighbor living next to their apartment.
To start off, there are no signs saying that the parking lot is private and not for private use. Plus on the weekends or when there's a football game at the high-school down the street, plenty of non-customers park in the parking lot behind the building. And my guests have been parking there since I've lived there for nearly a year. I had only been told once that overnight parking was not allowed, which I have followed ever since I was made aware. Again, there are no signs or posts that make you aware of these restrictions.
One time my family came to visit and they parked in the parking lot, which was mostly empty at the time. A blonde lady with short hair comes out and angrily tells my parents to move, which is fine if it is private parking, but then also calls them stupid. When I spoke to the building owners to get clarity on the parking rules (since there's no signage anywhere making it clear), they immediately defended their employee and did not apologize at all for their employees behavior. I'm not sure if it's bc of our race or what, but they are not kind people at their establishment. They did not seem at all bothered by the fact that someone who represents their image would treat my parents like that, which by the way they didn't have any problem moving their car to park somewhere else. Really shows what kind of people they are, just ready to defend rude behavior without any hesitation.
I will not be supporting their establishment anymore after this.

Skimpy. The toppings on the pizza are incredibly skimpy. If you order a sausage pizza, be prepared to be able to count the total pieces of sausage on one or two hands. Half the pieces had no sausage at all.

My favorite restaurant in the Chicago area. Pizza is so delicious. Light, thin crust with outstanding flavors. Sausage is homemade and you can tell. Just the right amount of fennel, and so delicious. Service is great. Owners are friendly and attentive. Can't wait to return.
It's a nice place nice location but after eating there I got sick my stomach was rumbling won't go there again

Great local Italian restaurant in Elmhurst on Spring rd.
From the time our host seated us to the time we left the hospitality was great.
We dine outside very often & I must say the customer service at Roberto’s was above & beyond…
We have dietary restrictions & the manager was kind enough to make good suggestions & made sure the chef swapped certain sauces with another based on our request.
The Days special (Ravioli) was a great option for us to get started while we were waiting on our steaks..
The prime fillet and the New York ribeye were just perfect with delicious sides.
The overall restaurant setting was great however a bit too loud for us on a Friday night…
Overall delicious food, great customer service if You ever wanna try some great Italian in Elmhurst…
