For as long as we have been dining at Roberto's we were never disappointed but this last time something changed. My husband ordered the Chicken Vesuvio even though it comes boneless and without peas (which is not the traditional way of serving) he thought he would try it - big mistake - the chicken was bland and not even browned. He was surprised they served something like this. I ordered the Zuppa Di Pesce w/linguini and ate something a little too mushy for my liking - but...
The whole experience at Roberto's was great. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We got the specials, a delicious shrimp appetizer, wedge salad and pasta with mushroom cream sauce. Everything was amazing. We will definitely go back.
Gamberi Rockefeller special was one of the best things we've ever tasted. Good, hot bread. Excellent variety on the menu. Pasta cooked to perfection. Even the simple penne marinara side dish was so good, if you got it as an entree you wouldn't be disappointed.
