Stumbled upon this place after our plans fell through and was pleasantly surprised. Their fresh baked bread was delicious and the perfect starter. We also had the jalapeƱo potatoes that were perfectly spicy, oysters that came with the yummiest sauces, and a fluffy coconut cake. Adan took care of us and was super sweet, and very attentive. Will definitely be going back to try more food!

So good we didnāt even take pics before destroying the food. We had the oyster Rockefeller and the calamari fried. The brick chicken, the lobster Diavolo, the pork chop, white fish all so good we definitely will come back

Food was overpriced & subpar. My partner & I ordered the filet & lobster risotto, Savion blanc & espresso martini. Our server was wonderful, however the overweight manager in the golf shirt came over to our table after we finished & paid for our meal & told us we needed to leave for being ātoo loudā when speaking about work related matters in the left side of the venue (the low-top/quieter section of the restaurant. He mentioned that there were multiple complaints about āvolumeā coming from our table. We were 1 of 3 tables in that section & they sat us all right next to each other in an open restaurant with 30 other open tables. Oysters were trash btw. I will never return. Save your money there are so many other places to dine in this area this was my worst experience in the area.

Went here the first time for a few Happy Hour specials. I couldn't of had a better experience. The food was great. Two different types of fresh oysters and both were amazing! The bartenders were great. Everyone was happy and smiling which to me suggests it's a well run enjoyable place to work. Highly recommend dinning at Victory! I know I'll be back!

I can always tell at night at 3am how much sodium was in the food. Why do that? Not going back. I agree with Betsy.

Good taste pretty tasteless for the high prices. Small servings of food. Drinks are ok but food is not it for the prices. Won't be here again

Went to dinner here last night. We used to come all the time but itās been probably 9 months and decided to come back for my boyfriend to try one of the specials. First time sitting at the bar and itās now my favorite place to sit. Olivia, our bartender was outstanding, I come from an industry background and sheās fantastic. We started with the Caesar, which weāve had before and itās one of the best Caesar salads in the area. My boyfriend got the Whitefish Calabrese entree and I decided to go with 2 apps Iāve never tried before, Fried Calamari and Meatballs. All three dishes were great! Took the cheesecake home for dessert later and it was very good. Victory is officially back in our rotation.

Went on Valentineās Day, early dinner so it wasnāt packed. Our experience was disappointing due to the lack of quality of food and the lack of attentiveness. Decor and lighting is as basic as it gets. Not sure if this supposed to be upscale type of restaurant. But most of the ones downtown donāt come out with paper menus and no drink menus. Service was slow from the start. Waited 20minutes for just two drinks. Then the food took about 30-45minutes. Each table near us was also waiting around to be served. Server never apologized for any wait. They have two managers standing at the front with the hostess when they should be helping out. For appetizers, we ordered raw oysters which were good and grilled calamari, those were tough. The whitefish was the best dish we ordered. The side of mac and cheese with lobster is one of the most basic Kraft type of cheese tastes Iāve ever had. Had the kids share the orcchiette sausage which was good. Grigliato misto unfortunately was cold and the calamari was tough. Seemed like that dish was sitting out too long. For the price and supposed upscale vibe, youād expect better execution, especially with basics like mac and cheese and properly cooked seafood. I would not spend my money here again.

I have driven by Victory for years and never knew what a delicious find this place was. We would go downtown Chicago for years to get oysters. Recently we were walking downtown Elmhurst and though let's just try an appetizer at Victory. It was happy hour so we enjoyed our cocktails and order 6 oysters. Big mistake. There was nothing absolutely nothing wrong about the oysters, nor how it was beautifully displayed nor their three different sauces (cocktailsauce/horseraddish, pesto jalapeno (which I thought I would not like but it was exceedingly surprisngly amazign), and a delicious vinegarette), nor the fantastic professional on POINT STAFF... The mistake was we only ordered 6.. we order 40 more!!!! It wasn't just the flavor and the taste of the sea that helped us to make this choice. But knowing that their momma mia east coast oyster at happy hour are $2 an oyster.........completely sold itself. I will never ever stop by in town and not visit my new favorite place, VICTORY.
THEY DO NOT MISS ONE DETAIL. FROM THEIR STAFF, TO THE FOOD/DRINKS, THE DESIGN OF THE PLACE, THEIR BEAUTIFUL BLUE/WHITE PLATES. I can't believe I have wasted so many years not dining at Victory.
The only thing I would suggest is to turn down the music for conversations. Otherwise, magnifico!
