i believe they want this place to be the kind of place that “gringos” can experience mexican food and it won’t be too spicy or too strong. we felt that the food could be massively improved with hot sauce. as we finished our meal, we noticed other tables had both a red and a green hot sauce — it looks like our server just didn’t bring them or offer them. maybe it’s something you have to know to ask for? the margs were sweet and had sugar on the rim, even though we ordered...
Since they’ve changed owners the quality of the meat has downgraded. To be specific, the carne asada tacos taste much differently than before, there’s no taste. The tortillas were too oily as well. Don’t fix what’s not broken, just to save a buck.
I've had the tortas and tampiqueña and the enchiladas all, which were delicious. The al pastor is truly divine. It's not like other al pastor, no pineapple, just more flavor. I absolutely loved it
