Spizzico Pizza & Pasta

I've been here a couple of times now. I'm not usually a huge pizza fan, but this place has definitely impressed me. On my most recent visit, we stopped by on a Friday afternoon and ordered the fried calamari and a deep-dish pizza. Both were really good, and I especially enjoyed the pizza.

One thing I noticed is that the toppings can be a little inconsistent at times. Some pizzas seem to have more meat and less cheese, while others have more cheese and less meat. Even so, everything I've tried has tasted great, and the quality of the food keeps me coming back. Overall, it's a solid place for pizza, and I'd be happy to visit again.

The food is not bad and the location is great. I ordered take out which took 27 minutes which didn’t seem great in terms of wait time.

After a long day of traveling and getting getting used to the time difference, even if it was near closing time they let my family and I stay and order dinner. The food was amazing ,and the service was amazing. 10/10 highly recommend

Dined in for my birthday and got to meet the owner. Rocco was so attentive and kind. The pizza was delicious and the tiramisu was perfection.

I give this a two because of the great customer service. However, I can't explain the flavor nor authentic Italian allegedly Alfredo pasta. This need to be re-evaluated especially if this is a specialty because it's all the way wrong. The salad was a plus, the bread as well as the pizza but this Alfredo pasta shouldn't be on the menu and chicken Alfredo must I correct my purchase but all honesty it's horrible.What I had was pasta, heavy whipping cream, chicken with melted cheese on top. SPIZZICOS should be shame of the cook. I really want my money back.

I will die on the hill that the stuffed pizza is the best in Chicago. Since I only ever order the pizza, there isn’t a dish my wife doesn’t love. Grateful they were at the taste of Elmwood park otherwise I would have overlooked this gem. Service and Quality is always top notch.

I came here with my family after seeing a video on Facebook that made the food look really good. Unfortunately, once we got there, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.

The pizza was okay at best. The cheese was good and everything tasted fresh, but the sauce was really bland and lacked flavor, which took away from the overall experience. We also ordered a vodka pasta, and while it wasn’t bad, it was just meh—again, very little flavor.

The highlight of the meal was the cheese-stuffed pasta shells. Those were excellent. Big shells stuffed with cheese and covered in a meat spaghetti sauce—honestly very, very good. If I ever came back, that would be the only thing I’d order.

The place itself was pretty clean, and I want to give credit to the woman working there. She was doing a lot by herself, stayed friendly, polite, and clearly worked hard, which I appreciated.

One downside for me was that they don’t have fountain soda—only canned Pepsi products, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Overall, I’m glad I tried it, but I’ll probably never go back. Still, those stuffed shells were legit and worth mentioning. Hopefully this helps someone out. 🙏

We started coming here about few months ago and we enjoy your pizza great taste just like we like it. And the prices are very reasonable. Two guys were working up front. It was our first time here, and we ordered a pizza, a salad, and calamari. One thing we noticed right away was that there were no prices listed on the board.

Everything tasted really good, but they did mess up my veggie pizza— I ordered mushrooms, olives, jalapeños, and spinach, but it came with lots of onions and giardiniera instead, and not many actual veggies. We also had to wait quite a while for the pizza. In the end, we just ate what they brought out.

Overall, good food but the order mix-up and wait time were disappointing

I ordered a pizza with Italian beef meat and giadenerra peppers. The cheese was good but I didn’t have enough meat or peppers to accommodate the monetary amount for the toppings.

The customer service was great though. 😃

Had dinner here Tuesday night and couldn’t be more pleased with the food quality, along with the warm and friendly service our group received. The deep dish pizza was delicious and the homemade sauce was perfect! Will be back every chance I get when visiting Elmhurst! Loved it!!
