Disappointed in the service today. There was one person taking orders and three others just talking near the register. When I placed my order the kids behind the counter just started giggling and laughing at the person that was taking the orders. Instead of apologizing they just ran away and laughed. As for the pastries I ordered, the elephant ears dipped in chocolate was amazing. However the cheesecake brownie and eclairs tasted old. Not sure what happened to this place, I used to come here a lot. đ€·

I cannot remember how many times we visited this place. But I cannot remember tell you that each Birthday cake we had we got from Bennisonâs!!
This place is always packed, an attestant to it high quality
The sandwiches are just delicious The cookies are scrumptious The cakes are always fresh and with no faked material The donuts are the real deal And the breads are fresh and tasty
What I like the most about this place is the fact that any holiday, no matter what religion they will make the customary cake or pastry!
We, Evenstonians are truly blessed to have this amazing institution in our town!

How can anyone justify charging so much for something that's basically just sugar? Real French macarons are made with almond flour, egg whites, and sugar, carefully balanced and crafted through a delicate process. Thatâs why theyâre expensive â because of the technique and the quality ingredients involved.
But selling overly sweet, artificially colored sugar bombs with none of the almond flavor or texture? Thatâs not a macaron â thatâs false advertising. Youâre selling a knockoff and calling it luxury. Totally misleading!

We were first time customers to the bakery and asked about the type of frosting used inside of a cake on display. Was told âannoyinglyâ that the middle shelf is all chocolate cake. I asked again if the frosting was also chocolate and was assured that it was. It was not. And the cake was incredibly dry and flavorless. Also purchased a flourless cake that had an extra layer of cardboard on the bottom with frosting covering up the cardboard giving the appearance that it was a larger cake. Will never be back.

I used to love going here all the time. Recently quality has been going downhill, especially the macarons. I donât know why, but something just tastes off. This week I bought an apple pie for Thanksgiving and there were apple seeds in my guestsâ and Iâs slices. I am BEYOND upset. This has never happened before. I miss Bennisonâs when they used to be quality.
