Meh.. What happened to you guys? Sloppiest burger I've had in a while. Literally fell apart in my hand, you know a little TLC goes a long way. 20 minutes to get a milkshake and asking what I want on my burger a thousand times doesn't help either. This was a go-to spot for Evanstonians and visitors, I hope you guys can get back to what Bill's really represented.

I didn't enjoy the food at all. We hadn't been here in a while and I don't think I'll be going back. We had burgers and fries. The fries were good, but the burger was awful. Not sure what type of meat they used for the burger.

I was born and raised in Evanston but moved away in 1972. But before then visited Bills back when you got a burger or dog for 19 cents. No fries anything else besides a bag of chips if I remember correctly. Nothing fancy but a good burger alternative to McDonalds. But can't recommend Bills now, IMHO way over price for the quality of the food.

I really liked this place! I ordered the combo #2 double cheeseburger and French fries. Everything was cooked fresh and the fries were especially good. Inexpensive and fast.

THIS PLACE IS SO BAD.The Food was DISGUSTING!!! They gave us a Terrible tamale IN THE MICHROWAVE WRAPPER. It was $4 and we could’ve just bought it cheaper at the grocery store. The chicken sandwich was FROZEN in the middle and tasted like school lunch from the cafeteria. The people were RUDE!! She kept making comments saying “You sure you want to eat that much” and “You sure you have the money for this?” LIKE WHAT?! The outside looks so cool but a MASSIVE let down.

Bill's Drive -in is the type of place where you go in, order your food, and get out.There is no space provided here to sit down and eat you food. Though they aren't the only ones with a set-up like that along Howard Street in Chicago.Having said that, the food they serve is very reasonably priced, and tasty. If you need to grab a quick, tasty, bite to eat before hopping on a Western South bound or Howard west bound bus to your destination, think Bill's Drive -in. You won't be disappointed.Parking: There is a free parking lot located just north of the building.

This is a hidden gem. The service was incredible, and the food was outstanding. We wanted a hot dog and took a chance on Bill's, I'm glad we did. We will definitely be back.If you want to experience a great local drive-in restaurant, Bill's the place.
