Been wanting to try this place for a long time but it’s always very crowded. The server was helpful with the menu, so I got the tagliatelle and it was off the chain. We went specifically to try their dessert, however, and it was lacking. We tried the toasted walnut crème fraiche cake with blueberry compote and gelato. My Grandpa, Viktor, has been telling me about this place for months. When I came to visit from Pittsburgh it exceeded all my expectations. Perhaps best duck I’ve ever had. Intimate environment. Top notch.
This place is exceptional. Wow. We moved to Evanston after 15+ years in city, much of it in Logan Square, and the transition from those restaurants to Evanston restaurants has been... rough.
Our first meal at Campagnola was unforgettable. They do everything so well, we can't stop talking about it. Very highly recommended!
