Good coffee and space but terrible cashier service. The sandwiches are good. Gave it 4 stars bc too few other cafe in Evanston offer wifi and decent lunch options.
Update: they gave me the wrong order. Didn't notice until I left the store. Their staff isn't the greatest

I reallyyy want to like collectivo bc it’s such a vibe and they have a great selection. I’ve gone into this location a few times and unless I get a drip coffee and simple baked good, it has consistently been disappointing, either the wrong order or just somehow not good.

My friend and I stop here every Sunday after our morning walk. Great coffee, great tea. We've tried the scones, the ginger snap cookies, cinnamon roll, and muffins. All excellent. My only complaint - or sadness actually - is that they don't have a spot in my neighborhood!
