Edzo’s is clearly one of the best burger joints in Evanston and their options are great. I will gladly walk by other burger stores to get a fresh, tasty and filling burger at Edzo’s, they’re also one of the few places that make an excellent patty melt with gooey cheese and carmelized onions. Also, if calories aren’t an issue their shakes are to die for.

Edzo's has been out go to restaurant for burgers. The food is exceptional and the service since they reopened has been the same. We usually order delivery and they now always under promise and over delivery on time and accuracy of deliveries.

Edzo’s has been my favorite place for burgers for many years. No one does it better than them. Amazing flavors, fresh meat, no frills. Just the way i like it. And their shakes are out of this world. Dont waste your time anywhere else.

Favorite Evanston restaurant! The food is so delicious and the flavors are really well balanced, you'll definitely be happy with what you order. The shakes are unbelievably good and the burgers are perfect. I love the Gales Root Beer so deeply, ha.
The owner is always very friendly and attentive to me and my friends when I come in. My first time here I was outside the establishment and a man came up to me to harass me. I went inside and the owner asked if I was okay. I told him the situation and he said he would go outside and tell the guy off for me but I said he had left already. I really appreciated that he was so empathetic.
Had a burger, fries, and a shake. Fantastic cook on everything, worth the price for sure.

My teen and I love to go to Edzo's for a lil' bonding lunch every so often. We are vegetarian, but they have an excellent veggie burger, the fries are to die for (garlic for me and cheese for her), and we love the shakes and that they have Mexican coke. Even when it's busy, we never feel rushed out of there, Ed is always friendly, and we are building wonderful memories. Just a warning for parents of sensitive kids.We do bring ear plugs because it can get loud in there if a whole baseball team of 10 year olds show up.
Dietary restrictions: I'm on the keto diet and the burger bowl is a good option to ditch the bun. You can also get a regular burger without the bun and I believe they can lettuce wrap it for you.
I don't know of a better burger in the Evanston area.
Although I haven't had these since I started the diet, I can also say that the shakes and the cajun fries are great.
