I like Edzo's! The staff greets you when you walk in. Then, you order at the table using a QR code. I appreciate that the website is easy to use. The first time I went here with my husband, I ordered a custom burger and garlic fries. The burger was so good and the fries were delicious! I went back again today and had the double double animal burger, pizza puff, and garlic fries. The burger was so juicy and tasty. I'm sad to say the pizza puff and fries were way too oily when they arrived. They tasted good, but it was almost inedible. I will still go back because I think they have good burgers, and I really want to try the other fries. They are a bit pricey, but it is Evanston. Two burgers, a large fry, pizza puff, and two pops cost us $50. Overall, it's a good burger spot.

Best burger in town, and maybe one of the best I've ever had. Can't miss the shakes either!

I have been a fan of Edzo's for awhile. I had been wanting to eat here with my beua, but we just never got it together to get here. Until last night. Before a movie. We got burgers, cheese fries to share, and he got an Oreo milkshake. Everything was amazing as always! I am never disappointed when I come to Edzo's. We both had burgers with bacon on them, and wow. They put a NICE amount of bacon on!

It's OK food, nothing remarkable, but it is time to quit single use plastic. Burger bowl (no bread burger) comes in a single use plastic with plastic cutlery. There are two recycling bins, full of trash, used napkins, food, all in the recycing bins. Nothing gets really recycled. There is an environmental cost for serving and eating cheap food. Every restaurant that uses single use plastic deserved a bad review.

I tried the double double animal style burger and the garlic parsley butter fries. The burger could have used more sauce. Fries were too salty and garlic-forward; I would have liked a stronger sense of parsley and butter. I wouldn't go a second time.

Edzo's was a nice small burger shop. The restaurant was kept clean and the staff were friendly. I ordered the double double animal style burger, fries and a chocolate milk shake. The burger patties were quite small and thin. It was good but average. The chocolate milk shake was amazing! I would come back for the shakes. If I do come back, I would try a different burger.

Been going here for years now and used to go once every month or 2 but I discovered the Inside out Grilled cheese sandwich and it’s the best thing ever. I now go for lunch to get the same thing multiple times a week. Soooo good?

The owner is a PUTZ! My friends and I are part of a Hot Dog Club (8-10 guys) that meets to check out and eat at various Hot Dog Stands throughout Chicago and the Suburbs. We have become real Hot Dog connoisseurs and are truly snobs for Fresh Cut Fries. Edzo's has potential based on the many accolades that hang on their walls highlighting the food offerings, but nothing mentions the ridiculously poor service and attitude of the owner. This restaurant which is in the proximity of Northwestern University has disproportionate college-age clientele who may be used to being treated like crap and with disrespect. Edzo's has permanently moved into the Covid age of QR Codes at the table which only allows for the purchase through the use of Credit Cards. No Cash! There is no menu board posted as you would normally see at any Hot Dog Stand/Burger Joint. The owner picked a fight with one of my friends and refused him service because he did not have a Credit Card. Another one of my friends when placed his order through the App, and for some reason the order did not go through and was not delivered to the table, the owner refused to help him with his order and told my friend the customer that he was too busy to deal with him. he was ultimately not served his order. How can the owner of a business treat his customers so poorly? I see from other previous reviews posted to Yelp that the owner of Edzo's Burger Shop has a history of rude behavior with his customers.
