Today was my first time at Egg Harbor Evanston for breakfast, and I want to start by thanking Sam, our waitress. She was incredibly welcoming and kind and truly made us feel special.
The food was amazing! All my requests were accommodated, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I had the skillet with bacon and eggs—amazing! The waffle was perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of Nutella and banana.
Bonus points for the coffee! They bring a whole thermal carafe to the table, which is so convenient—you don’t have to wait for refills, the coffee is there whenever you need it. And the mugs are so cute, I honestly wanted to take one home!
Overall, it’s a very pleasant and lovely place to eat. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you! ☕🍳🧇

Disappointing menu for vegetarians. There is not a single veg meat substitute on the menu, which is a bit ridiculous in a college town in this day and age. Their signature potatoes are now cooked in beef tallow, making the options even more limited. I hope they will consider stepping up their game in the future.

Loved the cinnamon pancakes with eggs! Felt like the bacons were a bit overcooked though. Coffee was also refillable, which was very nice. Enjoyed my breakfast at Evanston 🥞☕️

This place is absolutely amazing! I'm gluten-free and I have the cinnamon roll, which was so delicious and they had pancakes and many other gluten-free options. My eggs were delicious and the coffee was so good. The service is above and beyond and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Everyone was just amazing.

This place has totally changed since it has opened… and not for the better. I used to dine here all the time and have nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff and the food. I always felt welcomed by the servers and managers and enjoyed my meal. However, over the past few months, I have noticed the absence of some of my favorite servers, namely Josue, Teagan, and Annabelle. Also, hostess Sam is probably one of the most condescending people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with and she constantly interrupts my conversations with servers at my table only for me to overhear her make some of the most lazy requests. The food portions have only become smaller and more expensive. To make a long story short, the atmposphere of this place has taken a nosedive along with the quality of the food.

Egg Harbor is a great place for breakfast and more. We’ve visited EH multiple times for breakfast and a couple times for lunch and we’re always greeted at the door and treated to great service and food. The only thing missing is a build your own breakfast section.
