Extremely disappointing experience. The staff were rude and dismissive, creating a terrible atmosphere from the moment I walked in. On top of that, the hygiene standards were questionable at best, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Definitely not a place I would recommend and there are far better options that value.

Working in Evanston, I was excited to finally be near an Einstein’s again. I went once and never went back. I was the only customer in the store. The girl at the register was polite and took my order, but the other employees were just yapping away with each other.

I got my food, went to work, and opened it up: correct bagel, but plain smear instead of the strawberry I ordered. I was the only customer there! I emailed with corporate and asked for a refund—which I’m pretty sure I never received. Horrible service.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Employees have a terrible attitude and would talk about customers to one-another as if we can’t hear them. The food is fine but it is not enough to make me want to come back here. Leadership needs to have a retooling because whoever they are hiring really sucks

I received an email directly from the websites portal for complaint. I was able to remove my concern and speak directly to management. Hopefully staff provide the information to customers at their request in the future; but I appreciate the response from Einstein.

This place used to have their act together, but the last two times I’ve been here it’s been an absolute nightmare. I pre-ordered both times and both were, literally, 20-30 minutes later than originally quoted. The employees couldn’t care less and had no urgency to help. Never again - this place needs to get their crap in gear. Maybe having more than two people on at a time may help.

I come here most mornings. The egg white and avocado bagel sandwich hits the spot. The coffee is outstanding, and it is bottomless and free if ordered on the app. Also, the staff have been nothing but kind and gracious.

The WORST customer service EVER. From the moment you walk in, they treat you like an inconvenience. The staff is consistently rude, disrespectful, and condescending—absolutely unwelcoming. I gave them four chances, and every single time, I left with a terrible impression of their attitude. Avoid this place at all costs, only if, as a paying customer, you like being treated with dignity and respect.
